i really dont care about the rankings anymore after the absolute joke of what happened a few weeks ago with the re rankings

Yeah, Tyler Owens obviously got a massive bump. I don't know enough about 247's Texas guys to know how influential they are.
I did at least see that Ketchum's lone star rankings had Leal 1st and Green 3rd in the entire state so maybe he wasn't as bad about the bump in the rankings as one would have thought.

Rivals has us with 3 - 5 star recruits and Texas with 1. We have a higher player average and more players but a lower team ranking. How the frick does that work?

We got University of Texas A&M'd again .

I like Smith. He isn't big but has a lot of twitch. I could see him as a slot corner or slot WR. I assume the only reason for his low ranking is size.

I’m assuming nothing crazy happened as this thread didn’t go nuts today. We miss on anyone we had a shot at? Also, how did Arkansas finish up?

We "missed" on Shepherd, but other than that no, except for the two grade risks.

I give Fisher an A+ for this class

I think he and his staff did a great job of selling the program. Except for the guys we lost to Bama and the guys that couldn't take care of their class work, there's not much more you could ask for.

Man if we had got the 3 players we lost to Bama...this would be a top 3 class this year and probably our best ever?

Well it's already our best class ever. If we can stack with a similar quality 2020 class with some badass CB's and rush ends we would be well on our way to having a salty team

Are you going to hold that flake job shepherd and his behavior against Jimbo and staff?
That’s not right

Does that mean he'll be removed from the sips' class ranking for 2019?

From a USC mod last night
quote:
The 2019 recruiting class may prove to be the strangest, most paradoxical in the history of USC football. A developing story has been brewing for the past few weeks (pun intended), which involves the highest rated recruit to sign with USC last year. As the story has started to leak, we've decided to divulge some key details. Multiple sources say that former USC five-star wide receiver early entrant Bru McCoy is in the process of requesting transfer from the University of Texas. Yes, you read that correctly. McCoy signed with the Trojans in December and enroll at USC for two weeks of classes before requesting a transfer to Texas. McCoy never went into specifics about his transfer from USC; only to imply the departure of Kill Kingsbury to the Arizona Cardinals and uncertainty surrounding the coaching staff eroded his confidence in the Trojans football program. While the details of this second potential transfer are still a bit vague, we have been told by several sources that McCoy is unhappy at his current school and would most likely transfer back to USC if given the opportunity. If McCoy did end up back at USC there would be slim to none chance that he would suit up in 2019; McCoy has apparently come with peace that he is sitting out his freshman season. This is still a developing story, and as of this post, McCoy has yet to enter into the transfer portal database.

Hope the kid is as good as he’s rated. What a strange thing to do.
