Im sure you’ll be subject to a few tiger baits and maybe the odd drunken fan encounter but the tailgate scene is where visiting fans can enjoy themselves and find hospitality.

Yep. Went in 2013 ready for war and the first tailgate we walked by made us take pictures with her, start drinking, and offered us appetizers apologizing over and over that the jambalaya wasn't ready

Every fanbase has people looking for a fight, but typically if you return light ribbing with light ribbing you'll be drowned with booze and/or food. The worst experience I've ever had I was wearing purple (company shirt) for a LSU/Ole Miss work tailgate and some frat lords tried to push my porta potty over :casty:
In hindsight, we really should have run the 20 yard sack play more often
Will take a win in any capacity but will absolutely admit I pulled the trigger too early on the praise after the first stop
I missed halftime adjustment Elko SO much while he was gone.
Definitely concerned. I don't understand how the deep ball is so bad. I have missed 2 games and can still remember overthrowing KC on at least 4 occasions that would have been a TD in stride, or a 40 yard gain with an underthrow.

He is throwing the short/intermediate ball well enough to win, but the deep pass struggles paired with starting each drive with 2 penalties is tough to overcome.

If the defense continues to play the way it has, we'll be in every game, but frustrating to feel so close.

Correct, I believe they had allowed 233 rush yards total all season, and allowed 233 to us. If the graphic was fake consider me fooled

This is the most balanced and explosive offense A&M offense in quite a long time.
Yep. Its been refreshing. Think our offense will be fine, but genuinely concerned about Coleman having a career day. Need Ricks to have a great day and get to the QB.

Aubies, how has your run game looked? Another area of worry as aggresor said.

Agreed. Was hoping that the struggles from last year were growing pains and lack of horses. Have been very pleased with play calling so far. We'll see how it shakes out in SEC play.
Do you have a budget in mind? Northgate is great and significantly cheaper than everything that you listed, but would be a 30 minute drive from OF.

Braeburn has a year waitlist last I heard. Champions is outstanding, but don't know anything about membership. GCOH has a great deal that includes their member course, tournament course, Black Hawk, and both Black Horses (BHorse doesn't bring much value, but its super close).

My buddy enjoys Pine Forest, but I haven't been myself. Think they are on the 2nd of 3 9-hole renovations, so I'd ask about improvement schedule.

Love Royal Oaks, but they will be closing down to replace the greens at the end of the year.
Don't follow recruiting anymore. How do you think he's such a high prospect listed as DL when all of his film is OL? Obviously incredibly athletic, just surprised to see him ranked #1 in the state at a position not currently played.
So bad its not even worth going. Which sucks because the the vibe is great with buckets of beer and the music. Heard they were selling a few years ago and figured thats why they weren't upgrading but they just keep rolling along

That land has got to be worth a ton of money. Surprised they keep going.

Anybody know how Auburn's defense stacks up against the run? Specifically against zone read would be preferable

While not our top receiver this would be a pretty significant loss for us

Will is going to have his hands full trying to slow Lacy down. I'll take any help we can get for the other DBs.

Was at the ole miss game. Atmosphere definitely made up for anyone not on the field
One addition I'd make is Fuego for breakfast tacos, but it can get crazy gameday mornings and after bar hours. Very close to campus. Love Hullabaloo but its a good ways out and can have crazy lines as well.

Higher end food I always suggest Christopher's. They still have reservations available. If you're wanting to go out to the bars immediately, Dixie Chicken has good burgers, Chimy's has good margaritas and food that can fix hunger but is certainly nothing special. Chimy's will have all the games on.

No need to worry about tailgate plans if you haven't made them already. Wear Miz colors and youll get plenty of invitations
Holler if you need any recs
I was definitely puckered up running gun on the .5 yard line, and puckered up even more when we rolled out to pass, but great way to slam the door shut.

Huge day from Nic.
Will be in Europe and my heart says I will stay up for kickoff but realistically I will be waking up at 4am to catch the 4th quarter.

Poor planning on my behalf. :spank:
Sub 3 would be a great time, but remember finishing an Olympic tri is a great accomplishment!

Can not more highly recommend practicing swimming in open water. It can be disorienting not being able to clearly see. As others have said, swim your swim. I tried to freestyle the entire time keeping up with the leaders my first race and was gassed for the remainder of the race. Second time at the same location I took time to poor man breast stroke on occasion to catch my breath and finished 2 minutes faster and well rested.

I very quickly toweled off and put socks on because I am a freak and hate the feeling of wet bare feet in my shoes. Socks were immediately soaked even with the dry off so it wasn't fun anyway

Race rules always required a shirt so I bought a tri suit bottom and top (TYR) off amazon and loved it.

As others have said, the belt is so nice to have. Number is already on it so you aren't fricking with sticking yourself or your tri suit in a hurry.

Good luck! Drink water regularly from the start, grab the gatorade every time its provided on the run, and have fun!

 yeah it’s insane. We swam 2000m and tread for 5 minutes with arms out of the water as a “warm up” every day before practice and that was a washed up club team.

Also didn’t know this earlier but as Sek said Flava Flav is the USAW Team sponsor. One of the girls posted on IG for a fund raiser saying a lot of the girls were working 2-3 jobs to afford the trip, and he said he was going to take care of them
