What you're telling us is that CSPD (who is notorious for being anal) gave Sumlin a pass...yet they had no issues with arresting/securing search warrants for players like Speedy for a simple misdemeanor??
No offense...but considering that we almost won the Fulmer Cup with the help of CSPD and Bryan PD, I don't think he is the one being naive. I don't know where you're getting your information, but the known facts are that CSPD and Brazos County Sheriff's give passes to no one. Bryan PD maybe.

I still don't see it. Maybe if this DWI happened during the 2012 or 2013 season. But if this alleged incident happened anytime after the 2014 season, I call BS...as a matter of fact, I still call BS.
CSPD gives passes to no one. Even the hot girls on campus get tickets for the most harmless traffic infractions

Plenty of famous/wealthy people get arrested for small to medium infractions. Did lots of money and fame save tiger woods from his dui/dwi? Or let’s even look at something more comparable. Bobby petrino’s motorcycle accident? Why wasn’t that swept under the rug??
Like I said, y’all watch too many mob movies and tv shows. With how interconnected everybody is these days plus cell phones with the ability to record everything, it’s a lot harder sweep stuff under the rug.
How bad does it look if someone has a video of sumlin’s car swerving over the road, getting pulled over, they post it to Facebook/Twitter/whatever (like the supposed hotel incident) and then he never gets a ticket or anything? It would be a major sh*t storm and not a lot of people are willing to risk their paycheck for stuff like that.

Plus as was said earlier, after the 14, 15, and especially 16 seasons how much goodwill do you really think he has anymore?

A cop at the scene literally said off the record that's what happened, and multiple eye witnesses at the scene attest to it.
