Just saw a rumor on Texags that Leon might be gone.
I think the disappointment was either Looch or Peroni talking about how awesome the recruits were going to be for this cycle. So naturally people bought into it. Because of that ... it’s been a big disappointment.. due to a few comments from people ‘in the know’.
I’ll give them a pass ... this cycle. Not 2019...

What was the one thing he REALLY needed to get for the class? Defensive guys. What's the thing he's massively striking out on even though he hired a so called wiz DC and the GOAT recruiters? Defensive guys.

I will say Herman had a class like ours last year ... and look at what he’s done this year. I also think it’ll be 2 years to implement his offense as it’s a big change from the garbage we’ve been running. That said if Texas can go 7-6 with the kissing bandit recruiting well. We can as well.

It'll now take 2 years?
$75 million guaranteed and we are now throwing away 2 seasons to "rebuild" a team that hasn't has a losing record since 2009? If Jimbo can't win with players that aren't 100% perfectly tailored for his system he's never going to do anything here.

Sorry I can’t pump Chad Morris like everyone here. As a matter of fact. I haven’t pumped anybody and I’m largely a pessimistic person (unfortunately) so I can’t imagine implementing an offensive system that isn’t finesse based that would be successful in year one.

Wrong about what? He had a year that would have had this board's hair on fire had it been here last year. Losing his QB is a weak arse excuse b/c of how deep into his tenure he was. The man as the HC at A&M has done nothing worthy of his salary so far. He is missing on important recruits and getting assistants b/c our admin has opened up their wallets doesn't count b/c we could do that with any coach. I've already said he does have to win a natty and multiple SEC titles for what he is guaranteed. If he can't? It's a big fat L.
