Who do think we play in this year's Texas Bowl?
I'm going to guess we end up with Baylor.

Why the spanking? I would have included Tech if I thought they could make a bowl but with Alan Bowman injured for who knows how long it looks like their offense is DOA.
As for why I picked the Texas Bowl, I just don't see us winning enough for the Outback. We wont go to the Belk since we just there and couldn't sell tickets for shite to it. Same goes for the Gator. Our tickets sales to the Music City were also fairly weak. I think our admin will probably be against returning to the Liberty b/c it's on NYE. The Texas Bowl is the logical destination for us this year.

We will beat either one of them. Beyond the top 2 in the B12 I think Ags have enough offense to beat the rest of them. Our defense will give them all problems.

Baylor no longer looks likely as they are in excellent position to actually make the Big 12 title game. Assuming OU makes the playoff the most likely teams are now Okie Light, TCU, Kansas State, and Iowa State. While the sips would be fun that's obviously not going to happen in a bowl that is probably only the 4th most prestigious bowl based in Texas at best. (Cotton, Alamo, Sun, Texas, Armed Forces, Zombie Cotton, Frisco)

His post was from October 3. And to be fair, Baylor hasn't exactly played anyone yet. The most impressive win so far is Iowa fricking State.
The Big12 sucks this year. It's Oklahoma, then Texas, and that's it as far as competition.
