I really didn't expect Baylor to still be undefeated at this point. I figured they would lose to Tech, Okie Light, Texas and OU with another possible loss from either WVU or TCU. They should have lost to Tech but the refs fricked up in OT and instead of awarding Tech the ball after Baylor fumbled they called an illegal snap which is a dead ball foul that isn't a reviewable.

Bowl game? Kaiser wonders why you're a sunshine pumper.

I’d be fine with anyone.
But Baylor?
Heck no.
And that’s a bias on my part—I fully admit it.

At this point it’s better they do well this season so someone steals their coach.

They extended his deal earlier this year and apparently have him locked in to the point it's going to have to be an NFL team that takes him away.

They may not be Bowl eligible the way they are free falling.

This would just be 2014 all over again. Around Thanksgiving, chill will magically leak out how we are forcing the SEC to keep us from being paired together

Sites updated their bowl projections today and CBS and ESPN have us going to the Outback Bowl.

If we win 8, we're going to the Outback. If we win 9, we're going to the NY6.

And if we do go to the Outback, RC will still find a way to be negative about it.

If we win 8 and go to the Outback we would be finishing 3-1 which is what I said they needed to do for the season to have a chance to be a success. Win the bowl on top of that and it's been a good year.

You imagine the ratings? Maybe higher than any other game other than the title game.

The Athletic now has us going to the Outback Bowl with the SEC not fulfilling their bowl requirements for the Texas, Independence, Belk, Liberty and Birmingham bowls.

The Athletic have Alabama and LSU going to the playoffs, Georgia and Florida going to NY6 bowls, Auburn going to the citrus, Kentucky going to the Gator and Tennessee going to the Music City.

Unless the Gator has a special agreement with the SEC to always get picked ahead of the younger bowls I would think they'd be the first tier 2 bowl to get dumped by the SEC if there aren't enough teams to fill all the slots. The Gator has by far the lowest payout when it comes to the 6 tier 2 SEC bowls.
Here are the non NY6 SEC bowl payouts link
Tier 1
Citrus - $8.5m
Tier 2
Outback - $6.3m
Texas - $6.3m
Music City - $5.6m
Belk - $4.5m
Liberty - $4.2m
Gator - $3.1m
Tier 3
Birmingham - $1.6m
Independence - $1.2m

The payout doesn't matter, it's based on who gets to pick first, and Outback gets the first pick after the Citrus and the Gator Bowl gets to pick next.

No, that's not how it works. The Citrus picks first. The tier 2 bowls don't get to pick anymore. The SEC decides where teams go now.
