I like this town. I grew up here. But there are some things I'd like to add...
And that's not a good thing. Traffic is everywhere and it takes an hour to get anywhere during rush hour.
And after the mass Yankee migration of the 2008 Recession, traffic got worse. It's like NY, California, Michigan, and the entire Midwest sent their crappiest drivers to flood our freeways. frick, I'd vote for Trump if he promised to deport all the Californians back!
This is true.
I cringe whenever a Houstonian says this. Sure, we have people of all colors, but we're segregated as hell. Blacks stay in one part of town, Mexicans in another, and whites in another. Even Asians stay in their own bubble.
Kind of defeats the purpose of diversity, doesn't it?
With Houston being an A&M town, opportunity is amplified for us. For people who come from places not named A&M/UT/Rice, opportunity is a bit harder to come by (but not impossible).
Like I said earlier...TRAFFIC! Living in The Woodlands, Katy, or Sugarland is hell when it comes to commuting.
On a really bad day from Katy, it would probably take you longer to get across town that it would to the San Antonio city limit sign
.
This is true. I can't imagine having to commute every fricking day to college. Traffic on 45?? frick. THAT. I would have missed so many classes. (Maybe that's why UofH fans are so resentful??? They literally spent most of their college experience sitting in traffic.
)
At the end of the day, Sampson will choose the program that is most committed to basketball. And let's face it, it's Arkansas. I doubt he will care about the amenities each town offers if he doesn't have a good recruiting budget or a decent assistant salary.

Of course a Californian would talk about eating dicks.
Don't worry, we'll make sure we sponsor you for a Texas Visa. Now the rest of you can frick right back to your socialist hellhole.

Back to the topic at hand. Looks like Buzz is free to leave now.

Said I hope Buzz draws up the perfect play and the player screws it up. Definitely felt a bit bad about seeing it come to fruition

How's it coming on that bag?

I don't think this one is about money for Buzz. I doubt its a 4 to 5 mil dollar deal. If he wants to come here it won't take that much.

I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty excited about this. Hope the fan turnout is good next year even if we aren’t that good yet on the court

We got everybody but Mekowulu coming back. We might be decent next year.

we are going to be better than a lot of people expect next year if we can somehow get blackshear to come with buzz

How good of a recruiter is Buzz?
Posted on 3/30/19 at 12:12 pm to Farmer1906
Don’t think he has a reputation as a big time recruiter, more of a developer which I am fine with.

I am fully erect
Finally A&M basketball has hope again

While he isn't the best recruiter, he and his staff work around the clock. He only hires people that will outwork everybody else.
