Interesting fact. This is Travis Ford's 7th NCAA appearance (1 with EKU, 5 with OSU, and now 1 with St. Louis). He has 1 career Tourney win.

I prefer Buzz and think it's fair to be critical of Cronin's offensive approach, but he won a tournament game 3 of the previous 4 years and had a Sweet 16 run prior to that

Hes gotten through the first weekend once in 11 tries. That's what I meant when I said he never wins in March

Ok that's different from he never wins in March.
I think he's a good coach and we'd be fortunate to hire a coach of his caliber, but I'm glad it's looking like Buzz will end up happening.

they are probably getting sampson who is probably our #2 if something causes buzz to fall through

Have you heard this or speculating on A&M's interest in Sampson? Doesn't sound like A&M to target Sampson with his past indiscretions.

Just speculating given what's been put out. I honestly don't think Sampsons past will play too big a role in his future

I don’t think Sampson is going anywhere. Tilman likes to win. Moneywhipping a coach to stay for a few millions year is nothing to him when he’s willing to drop 80+ a year on CP3 & Harden.
