So now that it's been announced that Billy wont be back next year, let's starting talking about our future
Seems like buzz is the pretty clear cut first option so we will have to wait on this one a little longer

I would imagine that the leading candidates are Buzz, Musselman, Beard and Foster, in that order.

I dont even think we really have a second tier developed yet. I think we are solely focused on buzz

not what I was just told....

the guy I was told is not on the list above. He's been to a recent Final Four but I'm not all that impressed looking at his CV

Man, if we reach out to like Frank Martin that would be fricking random

Nah. Not a name anyone is going to know. He actually was an assistant at A&M when I was in school and married an Ag.
ETA - Porter Moser

Well, if we go that direction, at least we wouldn't be going "one bid league" again. Missouri Valley is at least a respectable basketball conference.

Eta: I had no idea he was an Aggie

This was given in the following context. This is going to be expensive for a sport that doesn't and hasn't drawn well (I think they are looking at it backwards but that's the feeling) and thus we need to be prepared for lower tier hire.
And was told by different person that we are currently collecting money for 2 coach buyouts.

That's what happens when you give the fricktarded extension that happened in 2016 for what was basically a one-off recruiting class.
It's a mess they left themselves in. This is COMPLETELY on the shoulders of Sam Torn.
You never, ever, EVER give that type of contract to handcuff the employer when there is no real demand or threat of that coach leaving.

As soon as you said that I knew it was going to be Porter Moser. Because we are cheap and we are not willing to money beat a coach. Not for basketball anyway.

Missouri Valley was a respectable basketball conference. That went out the window when Creighton and Wichita State left.

with a record like this we may as well keep BK

We might as well keep Billy if we are never going to be serious about investing into our program

He was on campus in the 90s under Tony Barone so he understands the culture........

Out of the last 5 tournaments, the MVC has had multiple bids 2 of those tournaments. The Ohio Valley (Murray State) has NEVER had an at-large team.
