Sankey got blown out in the latest round of media negotiations and is taking a litany of actions that devalue the SEC's brand and the regular season (where the SEC has advantages of every other conference).

Conference championship game is like #10 on the list why he should be fired and not allowed to resign.

still can’t understand how it never occurred to anyone that the conference championship games could have been saved, and even enhanced, by incorporating them into the college football playoffs.

Conference title games were essentially CFP play-ins during the 4-team CFP era. Most people were too brain dead retarded to realize that, so we had to pander to the low IQ mouth breathers among us. That is the real problem with CFB and everything else in the world.

You would have to force Notre Dame into a conference and if not they can go play with the G6 teams.

Fine. They’re already in the ACC in every sport that doesn’t require helmets and shoulder pads. They need to be in a conference. Yeah, Notre Dame is a big name in college football, but not nearly as big as it used to be. And it’s absurd to screw up all of college football over something as pointless as ND being a football independent.

Serious question: How has he not been at least asked to step aside?

This fool will still be at the wheel of the SEC going into 2027 and I can't believe it.

At this point I don't know if it is the SEC Presidents just being easily manipulated by whatever he wants or what.

Because he caved to the university presidents and athletic directors, who he ultimately answers to. However, he would have had equal and opposite pressure from the fans if he would have managed to hold the line and continue to tell the presidents and athletic directors to kick rocks.

The presidents aren’t capable of making proper decisions. That’s why they hire a commissioner.

Sankey made MAJOR mistakes and the Presidents weren’t able to see it happening due to their ineptness.

Ole Paul Finebaum said he's never seen an SEC Championship banner hanging in GA, and the championship game doesn't mean anything anymore.

What’s your point?

Sankey simply wasn’t an employee doing the will of its employer.

Sankey is/was given a ton of authority.

One of us isn’t keeping up.

I do find it interesting how defensive Georgia fans are about Sankey though.
