The contagion of John Cohen will spread to their other programs as well

I think Vandy is more embarrassed about losing to Auburn than Auburn would be if they had lost to them. What a fall.

This would make sense. Auburn has a history of firing the right man for the job.

Yeah. Let’s fire the coach, cause that always works, right? I mean he’s had four games to turn this thing around, right?

Four games into his tenure is plenty.

Sure, over half (the better half BTW) of our roster will becomes portal immediately and the only ones left will be those that nobody is willing to pay.

But who cares about that, right?

I mean, how bad does Golesh have to be to not come in on day one and have a program that’s only had five losing seasons in a row (how many coaches did they fire during that time?) and not having them beating everyone 50-0?!?

But yeah, fire him. That’ll fix things.

Saving it for the Iron Bowl which I'm sure will go down to the wire.

Not likely considering they won't be playing on the Indian burial ground that is Jordan Hare.

He is far from the hot seat. The NIL is still just settling in everywhere and all coaches are adjusting.

His coaching hasn't shown anything is his fault yet.

Golesh kept it close in Bryant-Denny with USF though, I mean that is why Auburn hired him right?

There's no program in the country with equal or better resources who has been worse than AU over the past 6 years. Florida was close, but they have figured it out (except for today).

I bet Vandy is kicking themselves wondering how they lost to this pathetic team. I don't think AU can beat Arkie at this point.

They haven’t even paid for Glen Dorsey… they have a long way to go to catch up to the Cam stuff.

He seems painfully out of his own depth. The decision to bring in a boatload of subpar players from a subpar league was the first sign.

That coach went for it on his own 25 yd line with the worst offense in the league.

It was a stupid play call, but when you know your OL isn't stout enough to line up and get a push against the DL, you have to resort to calling something stupid.

How many punts do we have to fair catch inside the 10 yard line (3 today inside the 6) before someone blames the freaking coach. That is some junior high basic football 101 that our stupid staff has not corrected all season long. The only logical conclusion at this point is that they are coaching it as it happens pretty much every game.

First year coach should get a pass given the shitshow he inherited.

From what he inherited he should get a pass for coaching with a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other.

This is always the stupidest take that bama people swear is true. AU fired the guy that had more success against Saban than anyone. But sure, it’s all about bama, as usual. Smh

We’re stuck in a cycle of hiring coaches into trainwreck situations and expecting them to turn it around in 2-3 years. It’s going to take much longer than that for how far down we’ve fallen. We need to stick with Golesh for 4-5 years at least.

You’re joking, right?

Please tell me you’re being facetious.
