Should we win I would predict the narrative would be that it’s a different team, with the new leadership from frank wilson turning the program around mid season. If he were to pull off winning out, I do believe the 3 losses will be overlooked and because they’d love the story.

I’m not going to speculate on one reason or another but I’ll point out that he was delusional.
We beat some shitty teams, barely, and he thought we were spoiled because we saw how many flaws there were.
It’s like he never addressed anything other than Hilton jumping for every ball. He genuinely thought he was doing well.

I’d say one variable of the younger coaches is that they don’t have as many accomplished “coach friends” that will come be their coordinators. If we got a Napier type, he’d need solid OC/DC’s.

I believe Kelly truly wanted to win a championship. He didn’t do so with Jayden Daniels and a championship seemed out of the picture. He seemed to care less and less after each loss.
