FSU cancels Will Latu's visit due to his academic status... Not sure where he ends up, but may wait until his grades are completed and look for an opportunity..

That's good to hear.. I'm pumped about the defensive possibilities left.. The BVG hire will also keep us in the good graces of Trey Johnson, which I was worried about.

Just saw on twitter where Penn State just offered him...

So he is going to have to redshirt his first year anyways?

How so? Was he already taking classes at LSU?

I'd imagine all the OL we take in this class will redshirt anyway though.

He was never in school and LSU. He does not have to sit.

This. Although he will likely redshirt anyway.

To show how team rankings work, when Miller was added by rivals we moved up to 13th... We still have 9 recruits to go, so top 10 seems very likely...

He sounds like the perfect fit for West Virginia. But since he burned that bridge, im going to say Marshall.

Yup, to gain some good weight...

I really don't know who will be our RT next season. Shon Coleman having cancer really hurt us at that position (glad he's doing great). I guess we could do this:

LT - Greg Robinson
LG - Christian Westerman
C - Reese Dismukes
RG - Eric Mack
RT - Chad Slade

We don't really have another player that could go to RT ATM...

I think Slade wins that battle. Slade really did start coming on pretty strong towards the end of the sesaon. If that is our OL next season, I would not be too upset.

If he commits Menelik Watson and Slade will probably battle for it.

I think Slade would probably win the battle due to experience. Which, IMO, would mean Watson would just be at Auburn for depth. Think about it. Slade will be a sophomore next season, and Watson will be a Junior with no chance at a RS. He might not ever see the field unless an injury occurs.

Well, we need quality depth at OL regardless. With our luck recently, we have lost a lot of good OL to unfortunate circumstances with health/injuries.

So. Id like to have Watson even if he is just upgradeing the talent on the scout team. Plus with his bball background we could try him at TE. Even though we have 5 or so TE already. Heck they could even try him on the Dline.

No doubt. I'm also curious to see if we can land Armstead. We get his last visit, with his parents also coming... Then, he is supposed to commit on Sunday and enroll right after that (like Monday or Tuesday). Landing him would be huge because we'd also get his brother, who is a DT. It's going to be hard to beat out Cal, though...
