correct... the UM guy was just saying Carr let Loeffler develop the gameplan against UF, not Debord (who had been much more conservative during the regular season). I have no way of knowing if it was true or not, and how much involment SL had.
from what people have said, Loeffler was instumental in developing gameplans for the 09 Sugar Bowl(UF over Cincy) and 08 Cap One(UM over UF)... granted, those were a couple mediocre defenses and both teams had offensive talent to burn(hart, henne, long, tebow, gonzolaz, harvin, etc).

Loeffler called the plays in the '09 Sugar Bowl, and acted as the passing game coordinator for the bowl preparation.

Most of the insiders on our side have said he wasnt coming to Bama as long ago as last week. One of the reputable insiders posted a definite "no" on him today.

I've heard twice today that we are making a late push for Beniquez Brown. Anyone else hearing anything? I'd ask the State fans, but I can't handle Bundy or Coonass grindin up in here......

Yes. Lefty is pursuing him. Laura McKeeman believes AU pushes hard and signs him.
I'm meh on him, but whatever. We certainly have the room in our class.

For what position?
I'd rather see him at LB than any other position... but I don't really know much about him since we weren't after him... ever

Yeah I would definitely prefer him as a LB. Not impressed with him as a RB.

I agree.
4 years is a long time, though, and he has plenty of time to see the field as a LB if RB doesn't work out.

I seem to remember hearing he had a "handler" early in the process...
I also remember Bama fans saying he was a lock to Bama, while Auburn fans saying Yeldon was a lock to Auburn. Seems like we flip-flopped, and I don't fricking like it...
