Two things..
-White isn’t going anywhere unless he voluntarily leaves.
-Aranda is overrated.

They weren’t going to bench Philo due to injury. He looked like shite today and JS had a quick hook. Really all you can ask for.

I doubt Faulkner is telling JS what to do personnel wise. There’s influence, but at the end of the day the decision is Jon’s to make.

… and Jones won’t be the starter next year. This situation was a 1 year rental overall. We have to get a QB that is a difference maker throwing or running.

Why not?

He had a pretty quick trigger on Philo.

Defense has improved a ton in 2 games.

We have a major personnel deficiency right now. But this will be our weakest roster under JS.

Disagree and that’s not going to happen. Aranda is very overrated as a DC.

We aren’t “bad” at QB, we are average. I agree that isn’t where we want or need to be but for now, that’s where we are. There’s no difference in Philo/Jones outside of one being more comfortable operating the full offense. This offense with Philo AND Jones, is as good as the OL plays, period. Neither QB changes the offenses narrative.

There’s nothing statistically that backs up Jones being a better passer or having more down field passing ability.

South Carolina is in a good spot with Tennessee coming off a huge emotional W. SCe has the talent and run game to win the game. All comes down to execution.

The Bama decline starts/ends with Saban’s retirement. Nobody was going to continue what he built in the current landscape of CFB. This post should have been one line.

Philo is eerily similar to Kyle Trask, without the size. He’s just in a different offense. This offense needs a DT QB that can throw down field to be optimal based on what I’ve seen.
