At one time it was believed If LSU pushed he would commit I personally like him more than the qb Johnson we have committed

Seems like LSU is going to stick with the two commits they already have but a lot of fans were pretty enamored with King. There was a lot of discussion about him on the LSU recruiting board a few weeks back.

King is the real deal. Jimbo need to reel this one in.

Hate to sound like a homer but I’m more than confident King will stay home. I was listening to the 247 pod after he was in CS last weekend and Brooks really emphasized how well the visit went. He talked about what a big deal his dad is in TX HSF. I agree with the earlier poster that Caldeza has looked really good. If Jimbo whiffs on King I’ll be very disappointed.

Personally, I'd probably like the Hogs to pursue King harder. He's a little bigger, a little faster than Morris - but make no mistake, Morris is talented and a winner.
Both are 4 stars, don't think we'd go wrong with either one, but I bet we end up with Morris only at the QB position this year.

Traylor has a chance with King.
With QBs there is a narrative out there about Chandler and Arkansas so this is what is keeping Haynes from looking at Arkansas.

Trust and believe Chandler is a Hawg already.
When Crawford visited aggy Chandler Morris was there to make sure he didn't sway too far from his commitment

Regarding Haynes. A lot of East TX people are saying Tennessee.
Gabe Brooks is probably the one to listen to and he is saying that Auburn is the one to watch.

But Chaney at Tennessee would take King over the QB that is already committed.

From what I have heard aggy is circling back to Hornsby.

With Chandler Morris commitment, I think we are done at QB. I don't see us taking another, not with Hicks, Starkel, Jones and Jefferson already on the roster.

I would have taken either, with a slight preference to King due to the size factor. Happy with Morris though.

Seeing how Ag is in your name I would go with Texas A&M got 2 crystal balls for King.

Hey Monty, those sip sources still saying Auburn?

He probably would, but he likes Bailey a lot too. We're not going to lose Bailey if King decides to go to Tennessee, either way we're playing with house money. I'd love to have both, but worst case scenario, Bailey is a great QB and we can afford to miss on King.

Coinflip between A&M and Tennessee. No one knows which he's picking, but it should be going down between now and Thursday

Most on our side think he’s Aggie bound.

*But that Hornsby kid that de committed from UNC today is aparently A&M’s backup plan, so who knows

Yeah the timing of the Hornsby thing is weird. Our folks are saying it’s not related but who knows. I’ve wanted King all along and would be pretty disappointed if we don’t get him and end up with Hornsby

I almost don’t want King since Bailey is our lead recruiter for like ever Georgia kid we’re in on this cycle.

Think he would fit better with Jimbo than he would Chaney anyways

yup, I think Bailey fits what Tennessee wants to do more than King does. IMO, King will be an Aggie. Being close to home and UT already having a top 5 QB committed will help him make that decision...JMO
