I find it interesting that King is getting tons of interest and doesn't tell anyone a thing. A lot of these kids are total attention whores and send out top 15 lists and such crap. King says nothing, and we are all pissy because he won't pull the trigger. He is handling this process perfectly. He isn't looking for attention, just trying to make the best decision for himself. I bet he is 100% solid to whomever he commits.

I agree. I’d much rather a kid who doesn’t seek attention and quietly decides where to spend the next 4 years over the ones who love to flip flop

i think we are going to see a pretty decent composite jump here. hes already a 96 and wiltfong is saying hes going to jump on 247 and ketch who i believe has some pull with the texas rankings for rivals is saying hes going to make a big jump
rivals is the only service weighing him down as hes not even a nationally ranked recruit with them. could make a run at a composite 5*

Just wanted to post this after watching Longview QB Haynes King exclusively during the morning session today.
First things first: this kid is a top 5 player in the state of Texas. Whatever expectations I had have been completely blown out of the water. He's accurate. He's on time. He's mobile. He's smart - football IQ is really high. He understands trajectory and velocity - when to drive it and when to get it up and down.
Then, there's the intangible side of it that everyone who knows him goes on and on about. He's about to get a big bump in our rankings...as well as a lot of other folks who are out here covering the event.
He's had a huge week!
