Good thing we have a transfer portal now.

Simmons can take the 7 figures from Texas and transfer to LSU and play for a winner.

This isn't 2011. Players get paid to stay on the roster.

Good get, Geoff Ketchum is saying $1,500,000 was the price for commitment. Should be money well spent

I wouldn't trust what that fat says

It's not trolling, sour grapes, or ignorance.

It's factual.

LSU is clearly the better choice if you want to play for championships and get drafted, and it has been for over 20 years.

That's just a fact.

And if you want to be a poor on campus

Saban has been one of the leaders in bitching about NIL, example: the A&M fiasco after losing players to them. Nothing I said was wrong.

He went front having a monopoly on paying players under the table to having to compete in the open market. Boo fricking hoo.
Bama and Georgia have been doing it for years. This isn’t new

Ewers is out, it was a 120 degrees on Saturday and the most physical game they have played to date under Sark. They are giving 13.5 to a solid UT-San Antonio at home and may be looking ahead to their first Big 12 game at Texas Tech the following week. Classic let down game. Load up on UTSA. This is their Super Bowl.

The line is down to 10.5/11 since Card might be out, and Texas might be down to its third stringer

So could either of these players transfer out this early and if they decided to, how would that work/when would they be eligible for their new team?

None of them are grad transfers, so they won’t be eligible until next year. They missed the May 1st cutoff (or the earlier transferring within the SEC cutoff)
A&M’s class was landed with straight cash homey, not NIL deals

Yeah. That's who I thought he was thinking about, but the posts he was responding to were about Denver Harris and I never heard anything like that about his mom

She wasn’t a major factor until the cash was just too much to turn down

I wouldnt go as far as saying theyre "woke" but they do live in New Orleans which says something. Usually that district votes 80-90% left

He would choose a school to ride the bench..? Idk man. He's the #1 recruit.

Bryce Young did it. DJ Ukelele did it. Etc.

So who's riding the bench.. Arch or Ewers? Or better yet who is entering the TP?

Arch redshirts/plays garbage time Arch's true freshman year, then replaces Ewers as Ewers leaves for the NFL after the 2023 season

Pretty simple

Arch seems fine being a backup for one year

What's the deal with Jordan Matthews and LSU? Does LSU just have some corners above him, or are they just not very high on Matthews?
It'll be either 2023 or 2024, depending if OU can find the money

I wonder if Florida will be all over this. UF was already razor thin at TE this spring and their top two options are dealing with pretty severe injury issues. The depth is so bad right now a DL was practicing at TE the other day lol

Sounds like the best way to remedy this is to take a perpetually injured TE

UGA has had to pass. It’s all about who is willing to take on the brother and we simply aren’t in position to play that game (like A&M we’ve got some roster subtractions to make and we still need to fill some spots in the portal, too)

Good get, Ags

Can't they just give him a PWO spot and get his tuition paid for with NIL money? Or is the a pride thing where the family wants him to be on scholarship?

Bama?

I could see him at Ole Miss.

It would need to be a non-SEC school if he wants to play right away
