Getting Walker would certainly lessen the blow of losing out on Bosa, assuming he goes to OSU.

He's a UF lock alright

Him, J. Allen, and Crayton (who I feel A LOT better about) would negate it, but we need to find another DT like JuCo possibly or an under the radar guy, we have a kid who is a Bama Lock for next year I heard about at Aday already 6'7 280 dominated for Vestavia, white kid forgot his name though

It’s been a busy two weeks for five-star Alabama commit Reuben Foster. The nation’s number two prospect officially transferred to Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama, went to his prom at Troup County High School, and on Saturday made the trip to Buford, Georgia for the Nike Football Training Camp.

Foster contends he remains solid with Alabama, despite his transfer to Auburn High School.

Foster admitted the transition to Auburn High has been a bit strange, but is happy with the move.

“It’s Auburn and I’m committed to Alabama. It’s been weird so far to try on another team’s workout gear because I’m used to blue and gold," said Foster. "Just to try it on feels weird, but it felt good at the same time."

The 6-foot-1, 246-pounder contends the move won’t affect his commitment to Alabama.

“There’s whole lot (of Auburn fans)- I can’t let them get in my head. I plan on looking at other schools, but I already know where home is- that’s sweet home Alabama. It’s just Alabama. It’s just set. It’s set and done.”

Foster, who holds a franchise grade of 102 from 247Sports, cited the dismissal of former Troup County coach Charles Flowers along with the education and football program at Auburn High as his primary reasons for the transfer.

“It was just Coach Flowers- they didn’t treat Coach Flowers right. There was a lot of stuff going around Troup County that I didn’t want to deal with and be around. It’s just a lot of stuff and I wanted to get away from all that.

“Education, the football program, and the love up there. It’s just incredible love- they don’t care if I’m committed to Alabama or anything, they treat me with respect.”

The Roanoke, Alabama native was dominant in drills on Saturday and was named the camp’s linebacker MVP in addition to earning an invite to Nike’s The Opening, which is held at Nike’s headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

Georgia prospects Alvin Kamara, Tray Matthews, Shamire DeVine, Brendan Langley, Shaq Wiggins, and Ryan Jenkins were also invited to the event.

“Being invited to The Opening, plus with my friends that I know that I hang out with, it’s incredible. We’re going to have fun and it isn’t going to be boring. We’re just going to have fun, do us, and compete.

“Just to come out here, I might be number two in the nation, I still ain’t going to sit on my butt. I’m not going to sit at home and not stay humble. I’m going to come out and work for the challenge and if I don't do good, then I don't do good. I’m just going to keep on working hard.”

Foster added that he’s unsure of upcoming visits, but plans to visit Alabama “very soon” and wants to visit Southern Cal at some point this summer.

I've seen some homer Gators flipping over on Walker to Bama so i'd think they are starting to realize he may be Bama's right now. Long way until February with 2 of his best friends in his ear about UF though. Saban's smart so he'll keep pushing other guys just in case.

A source who spoke with five-star UGA commit Derrick Henry tells us Henry plans on visiting UA this coming Friday. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Henry is ranked as the number one athlete in the nation and no. 13 prospect overall by 247Sports.

Only if you limit H-Back as Smelley defined it. I was thinking more along he lines of Vernon Davis / Tony Gonzalez / Aaron Hernandez.

Exactly.

If you have the talent there, it can be your #1 target. I think OJ Howard will be more fit for the TE position as he grows into his frame, which still leaves a potential spot at H-Back.

I think he stays as WR anyway, not every 6-2, 220 pound WR that may end up at 6-3, 230 has to play beside the tackles in college.

Think about the wheel route Smelley ran in the BCSNC game, If he had Bo's speed or hops it was a TD rather than a long incomplete by 6 inches.

And Dixie posted that he would commit to Alabama on May 24th in Jacksonville. His post was made a few days before any public announcement was made.

Stem Cell procedures for Maze and McClain

MOBILE, Alabama -- At the end of this past season with the Oakland Raiders, an aching Rolando McClain gave an assignment to his agent: Find out more about stem cell therapies for injuries, like other athletes are trying.

“I’ve been having two seasons of nagging pain in my knee,” the former University of Alabama standout said.

Not long afterward, McClain was on his way to Gulf Shores.

There, radiologist Jason R. Williams performed liposuction on McClain and then injected stem cells from the linebacker’s own fat cells into his knee and into the area of a high ankle sprain.

“It feels a lot better,” McClain said in an interview last week, adding that he’s working out four days a week with the Raiders, running, lifting weights, doing squats and even sprinting “with hardly any pain at all.”

About three months ago, Williams, 38, began the new procedure in which he injects patients -- two of them being McClain and former University of Alabama receiver Marquis Maze -- with their own stem cells in an effort to repair damaged joints and muscles.

“This is going to be the future of medicine,” said Williams, who owns Precision StemCell, which includes a diagnostic and interventional radiology practice in Gulf Shores....

Can anyone point to why LSU fans started going into full retard mode about a week ago? The SEC Rant was manageable until then. Now every thread has some snide comment.

I keep seeing people say things like "today" and "recently" in relation to this phenomenon and it is confusing the shite out of me.
