Wonder how Foster feels, knowing he's not the #1 or the #2 want for Georgia?

Bama recently offered QB Mitch Trubisky-6' 3" 195 lbs from Ohio. Has some nice things to say about Bama too. I'd imagine that Urban will be hard after him.

2013 Ohio dual threat QB Mitch Trubisky received a Bama offer and 2013 Georgia offensive lineman Andy Dodd has Bama as his co-leader with Clemson.

Good Highlights, I don't usually like Dual Threat guys, but he seems more like a Pro Style that just has some good legs.

This cat isn't even one of the 30+ Dual Threat QBs rated by 24/7.

I watched his film. It was decent I guess. He has terrible footwork though. Nice arm and running ability for a big guy.

I hope we aren't offering him because we don't feel good about our other prospects.

Were't you just laughing at LSU for the QB they were bringing in for a visit?

It's ok. They only offered Riley Ferguson because LSU offered. They offered 3 years after LSU though.

FWIW, he was laughing cause they were all excited and fapping about it. TS doesn't seem too excited.

Thanks, Magilla. Been lurking on TD for a while. You guys do a great job of consolidating Bama recruiting info from a bunch of different sources.

BOL posted pics of TF practice...SPRING IS HERE!! woo hoo

Also Dee has gotten a bit bigger, still got his knee brace, regardless though Yeldon is still bigger, he is MASSIVE

Ryan Anderson looks similar to Upshaw when he first got on campus, I like the look of the EE's

Can't wait to see the WR's & RB's at Aday

also interesting in the update:

Brandon Lewis lined up behind Michael Williams at tight end, wearing a new number, 88. Harrison Jones and Brian Vogler appeared to be getting the initial looks at H-back.

Travis' update from BOL

*Understanding that it is day one of spring drills, interesting to see Dillon Lee working with inside linebackers. Not all that unusual, though, because a lot of guys start out inside. Looked good during bag drills and getting into his drop.

*C.J. Mosley moved well during drills. Pretty clear that Nico Johnson, Trey DePriest and Mosley are the top three ILBs. Tana Patrick and Lee in the next group.

*Adrian Hubbard at SAM with Xzavier Dickson and Ryan Anderson at jack. Good to see Jonathan Atchison out of a black jersey and working at SAM. Also had Brett Calloway at SAM.

*Haven't seen every UA defensive line up close and in person, but this group might be the most physically impressive collection of DLs I've seen on the practice field. Don't know if he'll play early, but Alphonse Taylor has the perfect body for NT. Hard to imagine what he'll look like in a year's time. Jeoffrey Pagan looks very good, as does LaMichael Fanning, and that's after you get past Damion Square, Jesse Williams, Quinton Dial and Ed Stinson.

*HB will be interesting to watch, with both Brian Vogler and Harrison Jones working there. Brandon Lewis wearing No. 88 and working behind Michael Williams at TE. Perhaps Lewis can bring some Travis McCall to the position.

*Robert Lester, Vinnie Sunseri, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Nick Perry and Jarrick Williams all working at safety, probably in that order.

*T.J. Yeldon looks SEC ready. This spring will be a crash course in RB play for the newcomer and I can't think of a better guy to do the teaching than Burton Burns.

*Looks like Kellen Williams and Ryan Kelly could be T/G and G/C swing guys, respectively. Chad Lindsay also working at C with Issac Luatua working at RG.

Lewis has been there for a year, the new number is bigger news. He rocked his lineman number all last year s the blocking specialist.

Quotes from Andy Dodd:

quote:

"Right now it's probably a tie between Alabama and Clemson," Dodd said. "They are pretty close to each other at the top."

"I like the tradition at Alabama," Dodd said. "Everything is set in stone and it doesn't really change. It is one of the more recognizable programs in the country."

"I'm going to camp this summer to see how I fit at each position," Dodd said. "There is no way to tell what position I'd fit in."

"I talked to Barrett Jones a few times," Dodd said. "Offensive lineman at Alabama are tough, they understand the game. That is something you don't see very much."

"It is the perfect size," Dodd said. "It's not really a huge campus, but its not really small. Everything is really nice. I like that it is more rural, it's not like a big city."

"Dakota (Ball) is definitely trying to get me to commit," Dodd said. "He is telling me everything about it. There are really no cons to Alabama."

"I honestly plan to fully commit before I take my visits," Dodd said. "I will probably just visit the school that I commit to."

I'm told he is a VERY underrated prospect close to picking and we currently lead, great feet and athleticism, but long arms could grow into a OT, but definitely inside right now, a mauler run blocking

He says you're tied

That does not mean you lead.
