Scout has a new video up on Malik Zaire. It's description says it is an interview plus footage of him working on his passing skills. It was posted by the Scout Notre Dame site.
I can't watch it on my phone so I have no idea what he said. I'll try to watch it on my computer. That is if I can get my wife off of it.

I just watched the Malik Zaire video I was talking about earlier and HOLY shite that kid is impressive.
The video is an interview with passing drills shown throughout. The camera is right up on him as he goes through the drills so you get a very good, up close view on his mechanics and footwork. First off, he is extremely fluid in his movements. He has excellent mechanics and his follow through with his non-throwing arm is perfect. The ball flies out of his hand too. This kid can sling it. He is such a smooth athlete.
The other thing that blew my mind was how well spoken and intelligent he appeared to be. He was very natural in front of the camera and answered their questions very well.
The guy asking the questions asked about his contenders and the first school he mentioned was Alabama. The reporter then threw out names of schools and he asked Zaire to comment on what came to mind when he heard the schools. His face lit up when the reported said "Alabama" and he said "Champions."
Now keep in mind this was a ND reporter and usually kids tailor their answers to the site doing the interview. Zaire was the exception.
This kid is quickly becoming my favorite recruit in this entire class. Man I hope we get him.
Here is the video if you have a Scout account.

So. Any Alabama recruiting junkies going to A-Day?
My wife and I are taking the kids this year. Should be alot of fun, weather permitting.

I've heard from some good OSU guys that Urban is trying to get both Zaire and Trubisky but Trubisky is #1. Don't really keep up with them enough to know how true the order holds but all of these guys feel Trubisky is higher on the board than Zaire. These same guys also say Zaire is all OSU if he is the focus and that is what leads them to believe Trubisky is the #1 guy for Urban. TIFWIW.
Really impressed with how you guys continually update this thread with great info. Best team oriented thread I've seen on this site and one of the best I've seen period on any site.

Does anyone know if Tim Castille is interning at Alabama. I saw he was helping Coach Burns with RB drills yesterday.

I have to think Brent has to be pushing for some sort of Linebacker pos maybe where he can get in on third and long. His chances of playing RB now are nill to none. Bama is just too damn loaded and will add 2 big time RBs in 2013 that will make the position even more saturated.

How hyped will this guy be because of his cultural background?
