Can't stand Auburn and truly disliked Cam. DO like Timmy (as a person and Christian)

But Cam was a far better athlete than Timmy. Cam was pure athleticism...virtually by himself. Timmy was a 'system' whose entire team had 'grown' with him. It was a cohesive unit.

Herschel was the best I ever saw in a football uni.
Bo & DMAC were equals.
Cam.

Pick anybody else to fill it out.

true story. Dmac was a hell of a player, but he isn't top 5 at his position, much less any position

WTF? He was Heisman runner up twice and should've won at least once. He was a bad mofo, slightly behind Herschel and Bo.

The entire football world started running Wildcat b/c of him etc. etc., and he's got that fricking wood son

Derrick Thomas 52 sacks, 27 in one season.

DT was the most dominant defensive player I have ever seen. I think he still holds the NFL record for sacks in one game... Too bad his life was cut short in an auto accident. He would have broken every sack record out there IMO.

A lack of perspective. The history of the SEC isn't filled with guys who won multiple Doak Walkers, finished as runner up in the Heisman Trophy *twice*, who won 2 Jim Brown Awards, rank second in career rushing yards and all purpose yards, and who hold the SEC single game record for rushing yardage. Making Houston Nutt look like anything other than a monkey fornicating with a football in bad lighting for even a millisecond is just icing on the cake. Lack of perspective my arse. No serious discussion of the Top 5 can not include McFadden in the conversation at the very least.

fricking this. Anybody saying Faulk was better than McFadden is just wrong.

Surprised noone is talking about Danny Wuerffel. His 4 year run is the best run in SEC history. 4x SEC Champion, Heisman Winner, and MNC Winner. Not to mention his other awards, like the Davy O Brien, etc...

5. Archie Who( )

There are just so many great players to choose from....This would only be a start. So many great defenders, as well...You can't hardly stop at 5- but like I say- this is a start.

You must be using NFL Stats because McFadden was definitely 1 of the top 5 RBs in SEC History.
