I didn't want to add McFadden, but I agree with alot of these guys.

McFadden belongs in the top 5 is debatable with Peyton. That's about it.
I've got nothing against MacFadden, but you got guys like Emmit Smith, Reggie White, Peyton manning to consider. I am now wondering if Tebow and Cam belong on the list.

Hershel Walker
Bo Jackson
Peyton Manning
Tim Tebow
Eli Manning (One can argue on this one)

All game changers.

I'd like to add Kevin Faulk for consideration. He held the record for all-purpose yards and touchdowns in the SEC until Tebow. He is currently third in rushing yards all-time as well.

Walker
Jackson
Newton

Manning/Tebow/Mcfadden

I'm sure defensive players have a case as well but that's too hard to compare

After being on TD for over a year, people will definitely argue all kinds of ridiculous things. Good luck convincing people of Eli over Cam, DMac, Emmit Smith, Reggie White and probably at least 20 others.

TOTALLY forgot about Peyton

This is a hard list to make. And as someone already said before defensive guys like Reggie White complicate it.

Wow... that's a tough one.

Bo Jackson
Herschel Walker
Cam Newton
Lee Roy Jordan
Billy Cannon

Give me another hour to think and I'd probably have a different list. Hell, I'd like to put Reggie White and Tracy Rocker on there too.

To be fair, while a great college QB, he wasn't as great in college as he has been in the pros. It is hard to imagine now after the way his pro career has gone, but there are reasonable arguments to leave him off a top 5 list like this. Top 5 is pretty hard to narrow down.

IMO Newton has to be on here over Tebow. I look at it kind of the way we look at the colts without manning. Look at Auburn the year before Cam got there and the year after he left. He singlehandedly took an at best mediocre team and carried it to an undefeated season in a year when the SEC had one of it's best seasons of all time. Especially the West

Newton may be the best of them all, but I was just thinking that only really playing one year in the SEC might make his inclusion a little more difficult.
