The grandkids of most ridiculously successful people tend to be shitheads.

I figure it’s because all they know is success and money. Didn’t grow up watching gramps hustle.

I have a lot of respect for Bear, but respectfully he is not even a top 3 Arkansad native. Maybe not even top 5, I’d have to look into it.

The most well-known Ohioans are Joe Burrow even if he wasn't born here, Lebron James,Ulysses S. Grant the man who made Lee his bitch. Oscar Robertson who was not born here, Iris Roley an activist.

I would like to nominate Cormac McCarthy, who passed on June 13th. He was the Faulkner of the modern era. He was raised in Tennessee and was a student at UT before dropping out and joining the Air Force.

He's a Virginian. Just like every single other famous "Texan". With the exception of Crockett who is technically a North Carolinian.

Sam Davis. Young kid who was a solider that captured by the Yankees, they hung him because he refused to divulge any information. His last words before being hung were something to the effect of “I’d rather die a thousand deaths than to betray a friend”. His house has been turned to a Museum in Pulaski definitely worth a visit.

It was actually "do right and risk the consequences." He also owned slaves and was instrumental in the Trail of Tears, so there's that.
