Then where did the "5-7" stuff come from?

Georgia is going to go 5-7.
We hear it every offseason.
When? Where? Who?
Poor ol' Georgia
You are reinforcing the negative stereotype of the oversensitive persecuted Georgia fan with the eternal chip on their shoulder.
re: Damnit Charles, why'd you have to go and do-it?

I feel persecuted.

Coordinator hires obviously are the most important off the field decision that a head coach can make.
After 2019 Kirby was at a crossroads. Would he be the new Mark Richt and just tease the shite out of Georgia fans some more, or would he be the coach that finally broke through?
To his credit Kirby told James Coley to hit the road, which wasn't easy because Coley was the ace recruiter, and Kirby did his research and hired Todd Monken, which turned out great.
PPG can be a misleading stat. The more your defense sucks, the less likely you are just hand the ball off the entire second half and play the backups like we did against LSU in the SECCG. In terms of "first half points per game" I'd imagine that Georgia led the country last season or at least they were top 5.

New QB is 10x more questiony than new OC that was an internal hire. You are slowly revealing yourself.
James Coley was an "internal hire." // And I'm NOT gay, I'm getting tired of this :banghead:

This is a bad take. Bobo is a known commodity.
It would be really interesting if some Gamecock fans would chime in here and give their take.
I guess we'll find out whether or not Bobo really did lose a step after he fell out in Las Vegas.

Coordinators are a crapshoot. James Coley was awful and Todd Monken was incredible.
Anybody saying that Georgia's offense will be better or worse or about the same this year is just completely guessing. We have a new offensive coordinator and the bottom line is that anytime you have a new coordinator, who the frick really knows!

They also say that a slight break is great but not required. An oversized break means that your khakis are too long.

Georgia threw 4 passes in the second half of that game and none in the fourth quarter.

Joe Milton and Nussmeyer have the two craziest arms in the SEC for sure!

I love seeing all the UGA... but Mims and Lovett are a little bit of a stretch.
Mims is the highest rated and prettiest looking offensive linemen in UGA history, and he's going into his third season now with a few hundred snaps under his belt.

Money can't buy properly fitting khakis, apparently.

2013 Georgia/Auburn produced the least probable/most miraculous play in SEC history. You'll never hear a crowd go from groaning loudly to squealing loudly as you will ON THIS PLAY.

Reggie Ball was the best UGA player of the last 30 years. Don't know about the most influential though.
