Every SEC fan should experience an LSU night game. Good folks (for the most part), good drink, and damn good food.

Tennessee. It's a day trip for me, and it's all around a good time.

I still want to make it to Athens.
Game day for the tailgate is worse than Texas, and UT has homeless people under the interstate. I went once for a "blackout" game against Alabama. They restrict how early you can park on campus, and how early you can play music (nowhere near a dorm.) It was so boring I left two hours before the game started.
It's a good college town (bars, blah blah) but totally uninteresting game day experience unlike Tennessee, Auburn, etc.

Auburn Alabama. Sure we lost on a stupid give-away fumble, but who knew you could get boiled peanuts AND turtle soup in the stadium ?

University of Nebraska Lincoln. Great memories from that trip every year in college. 2 day drive up and a week stay for the tournament then 2 days back. A nice stop in St Louis hitting the casino’s and just a fun trip with the team. Always had a blast.
As a spectator Texas Tech hosting any Texas school is always a blast.

My favorite road trip for college football was to Ann Arbor & watch Michigan play. Been there a handful of times.
My favorite sports related road trip was going from Michigan to Boston, with a stop at Cooperstown, NY to visit the Baseball hall of fame. I bought a retro discounted Cubs t shirt I got complemented on for years lol.

Georgia was a fun trip. Went to the LSU vs UGA game in Athens in 2013. Went to the Braves game the night before. Got up early and tailgated all day. Stadium atmosphere was great. Went to that street full of bars/restaurants after the game. UGA fans weren’t bad at all to us. Would go back.

Impossible for things to change over 15 years. Inconceivable!

Rent a cabin in Gatlinburg (not to be confused with Pigeon Forge)
This is funny to me considering they are 5 miles apart. As a condo owner in Gatlinburg (inherited) I will say that wives and kids will have a much better time in Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is far more walkable though and would probably be a better “guys trip”

I have been to Harry Truman High. Try harder.

Tuscaloosa is my personal favorite. I've always had a great time there. Oxford is an honorable mention.

Nobody goes to the Grove anymore, it's too crowded.

Nothing compares to LSU. Great atmosphere, tailgating, and friendly folks. Of course, aside from campus it’s one of the biggest shitholes I’ve ever seen. Like a southern mix of Detroit and the underbelly of Chicago.
