They aren't. Quit believing what you read on the Rant. This shitty site should not be your soul source of information.

Accounting degree from ANY of the other SEC schools.

Well with the advent of AI, I wouldn't put much long term money on accounting, law , and a bunch of other majors.

Why would you be worried about getting a job?

Exactly.

I retired in 2020 at the ripe old age of 58. We don't need no stinking jobs.

Both of those professions, law especially, involve constantly evolving rules and standards, grey area choices, and the ability for clever actors to manipulate and obfuscate.

Neither of them are going to be slightly troubled by AI.

A key indicator for us is how the candidate did amongst their peers. The cream rises. Someone in the top 10% of their class at a solid state U would almost always get the nod over someone in the bottom half from a "prestigious" U. That said, there are always going to be some hires from those top schools just to keep up appearances.

This really is a tired perspective on this site. I realize CTs do stupid things but this idea that all the men at A&M are gay is a tired old joke that isn’t accurate, funny or creative, but by all means, carry on.

Are these tranny friendly jobs we're talking about in Austin?

Do they have gender neutral bathrooms?
Tampons in the men's bathrooms?

Jobs are highly degree dependent. And if we are honest your degree is only important for beginning jobs unless it is a highly specialized field. Experience is the most important factor. In the state of Texas, many graduates from A&M and Texas have a large network from which to pull.

At this time, many recent graduates are facing unprecedented pressure due to the amount of experienced workers in the candidate pool.

Congratulations! I'm going to have to work a little longer than that since I had to start over in my mid-thirties due to a nasty divorce. But 58 is an accomplishment

What's the lesson here? that pissing over "who's better" is ridiculous. Both offer a great education. Trolls like the OP just want to stir the pot. It's all they know how to do.

Plus the proof is in the pudding. 3 SEC schools made this list for 2026:

UF received a record 96,011 applications for approximately 7,500 spots in the Class of 2030, representing a 78% increase since 2021.

Oh my god, is that where Talarico went? Doesn’t fare well for Texas. That dude is an effeminate fig. Wouldn’t want him representing my school
