2026… the same year we’re in, we were tops in the SEC and number 2 in recruiting in the country, Largely because we signed the number 1 overall Bama HS Player. “Also, See Top player From Georgia HS, etc.. we signed those too, but we can discuss those another time” You’ll see him on Saturdays soon. Not to mention the number 3, 4,5 etc..
But for the 2027 recruiting, you’re right we haven’t signed the top overall kid from the state, even though overall we’re like one recruit from being top 10. He’s Philip Rivers kid, who played at NC State. Nobody had a shot at him but where his dad played.
Plus we don’t need a QB. We currently have the top overall player in the country and top overall QB and Too overall Texas player under center this year. He’ll be a freshman. Our players from Bama HS aren’t as nationally ranked as they were in the past and didn’t fit our needs to what DaBoss needs, so what did he do instead?….
