I know it sounds like sour grapes because we suck now, but I was losing interest in CBB even back when Will Wade was still here, for all the reasons you listed. The refs have way too much sway over the outcome of games.

The number of air balls is astounding. I wish they'd do away with the 3pt shot altogether. It's turned the game into a farce.

The better question is when did they stop calling moving screens.

fricking this right here.

There was one in the Tennessee game the other day where they were on a 2 on 1 break. The UTk player without the ball looked back and slowed down to get in Broome’s way. Broome just pushed him out of the way and Bilas was wanting a foul called on Broome.

About 80% of the screens in half court near the top of the key never set their feet. It's crazy.

Full court shots should be 10 points. Just a bunch of dudes hurling full court bball shots, over and over again.

And they don't call 3 seconds in the lane ever anymore.

The guy that you so graciously won't name isn't a bad guy. His style of play did not fit his team in his freshman year. He had a shooting slump, and it seemed to get in his head. He transferred to a more wide-open style of play which fit his game better and, wouldn't you know it, he found his stroke again. Sometimes, a change of scenery is a good thing.

What I’ve always not liked is the arbitrariness of fouls, on one side someone’s head is almost lobbed off and no whistle is blown and on the other you get an anticipatory whistle even though there’s ultimately no contact.
