…to coach your baseball team? I think if State doesn't host this year, he's gone. His SEC avg is sub .500. With the talent we've been bringing in the last 4 years, there's really no excuse

I like the way he coaches. I think I would rather have him than Gaspard, yes.

I like him at state.

But seriously, his personality and attitude are horrible. A better question would be if you were a player would you want to play for him? I know several guys who played at state and couldn't stand him. One of them was there for the Polk to Cohen transition and he said that if Cohen had been his recruiter/ coach from the beginning, there is no way he would have gone. That said, he still manages to get players down there. It's interesting.

If LSU hired him I would quit watching them until he left or was fired. The guy is a A-1, first class jackass. I am amazed that State has kept that guy so long. MSU is the original SEC power in baseball, ya"ll too much class to keep this guy around.

It's a lot to tolerate for having mediocre seasons. I hope at the end of the season we're in Omaha and Cohen's job is still intact, but if we miss the SEC tourney again, I hope he's gone.

I do. He's a dick. But I think most fans would readily acknowledge that.

As a State alum and one who worked inside the sports department, I can say I cannot stand him. He berates his players and coaches. Coach Thompson is a good friend of mine, pitching coach under Cohen for stint, and he would cuss out every in dugout. He could not stand him and maintained a terrible relationship. Cohen is just an verbally-abusive scumbag coach who wants it for himself, not for anything larger.

Also knew a few players that was in that transition and even one of the GA's under Cohen. Heard the exact same thing. Was actually with one of the players when Polk called him while we were eating, Polk was seeing if things were getting any better with Cohen and the players relationships.
