But you could say the same thing about Arkansas -> Missouri. The prettiest part of Arkansas hugs the Missouri border. Because the states share the Ozarks. Southern and eastern Arkansas is a giant floodplain.

Calling this “God’s country” is the most Oklahoma thing ever.

Missouri, parts of it has massive bucks.

Jokelahoma isn't just about the current state of the football program. It's about the state. Who vacations in Oklahoma? I haven't and have never known anyone to do such a thing.

Your assessment reveals your ignorance. FYI - East St Louis is in Illinois you dork.

[embed]The quail and pheasant hunting in the pan handle is excellent.[/embed]
Where I grew up in NE MO, the quail have been almost gone for 20 years. The reasons are debated, much less CRP, virtually no varmint trapping, Fertilizers, & exploding birds of prey populations. I will definitely check out a trip to the pan hadle. Do they have grouse as well? I've always wanted to try my luck at them.

Pretty sad the liberal.shite holes of St Louis and Kansas City dont know which States they are in.

I’d rather live somewhere in the SEC. Which is why I no longer live in Missouri, and wish I had chosen a different name

If you want a real trip into the bowels of Hell , venture into
the Oklahoma panhandle , known as no man's land.
Admittedly there's something to be said about the beauty in dried out starkness , just not sure what.

Let's be honest. Both pretty much suck.

The Oklahoma panhandle is 30 miles from New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas in each direction and is definitely interesting. Black Mesa is the highest point in Oklahoma and it's in the panhandle.

That's true, the Ozarks are really in AR for the most part. Certainly the best and most beautiful parts.

Casinos?

All that’s missing from that picture is the marijuana dispensary. I just arrived in Fayetteville, and came through Siloam Springs. There is a dispensary literally on the state line, and a casino next to it.
Boomer Sooner (maybe we should change that to Boomer Later for all the stoners).

I too grew up in NE MO - and really miss the quail hunting. Whether with a few buddies, or an army of cousins on Thanksgiving day - lot of great memories. For me the reason is obvious - the fence rows, hedge rows, and pretty much all the other cover is just gone due to larger row crop operations and a lot fewer farmers with lifestock.

Lived in both for a long time each, MO wins hands down. Most of OK is flat and little to do outdoors. MO has lakes, rivers, caves, and great hunting. OH and F red clay on my car.

Hopefully it was satire. But you never know. Maybe he's a big fan of the righteous gemstone family.
Oklahoma offers a diversity of appeal. You can see places where Caucasians died from the elements and starvation. You can also visit places where Native Americans died from the elements and starvation.

It's actually one of the few parts of OK to visit, hiking there is great.
