So how has that taking guns away thing worked out so far?

No one will ever disarm the criminals or the citizens.

Nice straw man, though...

Put the REC in charge and move the capital to Birmingham for starters. It's working for the SEC and look at our success.

Easy... I'd rather be a fan of LSU or State than being a liberal and not having a single original thought of my own.

I could never switch political beliefs. The people on the other side are all mouth breathing morons. Their base is fired up over social issues that are really inconsequential to the grand scheme of things, and they don't understand even basic economic ideas. The real joke is that they claim to represent ordinary Americans while being supported by millionaires and large corporations. And it's so telling how angry they are all the time, usually when their hypocrisy and corruption is exposed.

One thing's for sure: we can't let their radical agenda ruin America's future. I just hope all the people who agree with me can save the country before it's too late.

I would rather be a Texas fan than a liberal.

I still think there will be a civil war within the next 75 years. Cue the black helicopters.

I don't think either would be too bad anymore.

Hell, it may even be nice to experience a real win athletically or politically.

To the OP's point - all I can say is Go Yellow Jackets, War Eagles, Gators, or Cocks (threw that in for the OP).

Terminology means everything. If you are talking about the "conservative" democrats that fought integration and civil rights, then screw it. If you are talking about "liberal" democrats that would do anything to destroy the Constitution for the sake of power, then screw that too.

No black helicopters.
Many (myself included) agree with you.

I would hate to be someone who's sense of identity comes from the political party they belong to... People who are obsessed with being conservative or liberal or hating obama, etc. are some of the most annoying people on the planet.

Agreed. That's why being an independent is so much healthier for you, and for the country.

I'm not obsessed with my political party; I'm committed to doing what's best for myself, my family, and my home.
Like it or not, having a voice in politics affects that.
I'd be thrilled if that wasn't the case.
