When a topic still has interest amongst the Rant posters you really should allow the thread to die on it's own.
If someone is uncomfortable with the topic and they have a personal problem with the thread they should not participate, this is taking into consideration the topic was not of questionable intent to begin with and this can be quite subjective.
This brings up my last and most important point on this subject..... deleting and to a lesser degree anchoring threads.
Don't bring your personal beliefs, biases and feelings into making decisions on what you feel is appropriate content for any topic and especially if it's due to some other Ranter running to the Admins whining that so and so hurt my feelers, look I understand anchoring and possibly deleting a thread if it's getting needlessly bumped.
Threads should live and die when our fellow ranters decide the thread lives or dies. Come on this thing called the Rant that we all enjoy is primarily adults participating right?

Well my 12-16 wins for the year prediction has no chance without pretty much winning the SEC Tourney.

I may be witnessing the worst game played in the SEC this year and MIZZOU is still in it.

Yeah, I don't get tore up over this shite like some people, I luv my Tigers but this BB team is hands down the worst I've seen and I'm 56.
I find myself laughing sometimes when I watch the dumb TO's, crappy ball handling, missed FT's clanking off the rim, if you can't average at least 70% on your FT's you're gonna lose a lot of games.

Ya know I have not watched MIZZOU play very much this year but tonight I'm forcing myself to watch this cluster to the end, I need to watch a complete game just to say I have. :cheers:
