Fan of rival. When all is said and done sports is just a game while liberalism destroys everything the United States stands for; freedom, self reliance, incentive to be the best you can be, etc.

Liberals try to build their voting base by driving wedges between groups; non-white vs. whites, "rich" vs. poor, male vs. female, city vs. urban, gay vs. straight and on and on. All one has to do is look at the most liberal cities to illustrate what happens when Liberals control everything. Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, and Los Angeles are shinning examples.

These cities are corrupt and morally and financially bankrupt. All Liberals want to do is buy votes by giving away the hard-earned money of others; i.e. wealth distribution but that can only last for so long. Over 51% of the U.S. population is now on some sort of Government subsidy and we are rapidly reaching the point of no return if haven't reached that point already.

Liberal as in, I support gay marriage rights, keeping abortion regulations how they are, and decriminalizing pot? Also, understanding that poverty is cylinder and if we can break that cycle then we can change the next generation of a family?

ETA: does being liberal also mean i dont think the universe is 6,000 years old and the possibility of life in outer space is legitimate? Maybe we cab add to that - trickle down economics do not work. putting more money in the pockets of the fat cats doesnt give the "less thans" more money....it gives the fat cats a new beach house and a boat.

Tough one. Only thing I can say for sure is I would take either one over someone who can only think of the world in terms of black and white labels

No, no, don't get it twisted. We all love Texas. It is a beautiful, picturesque state with loads of resources and tourism opportunities. Quite an amazing place and we very much want it...

...what we don't want are all those damned Texans.

J/k, you guys could lose some of the ego, but I'll take a Texan over a New Yorker, Illinoisan, or lilly Californian any day.

What if you were an Auburn "fan" and conservative, but now consider yourself a diehard Bama fan and a liberal?

I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I hate Kansas, Indiana and Louisville. In that order. I could not be a fan of any of them under any circumstances so make me a liberal I suppose.

impossible. if you support social programs then you need $$ to do so; which requires not being conservative with your money

I think you and I have different definitions for the word social in this context. I'm talking about civil rights while you may be referring to welfare as an example of a social program.

I am pro gay marriage but against all welfare. I'm pro abortion and pro death penalty. I'm for recreational drug use and very much against big government. Hope this clarifies.

We're in the same boat. I get some strange looks loading and unloading an AR out of the back of a civic hybrid
