the kick 6 game is way worse than this. Took Bama out of a 3-peat opportunity.

People are completely blowing this out of proportion, and some stupid Bama fans are playing along.

Let's not forget when Georgia Southern beat Florida at Florida without a single pass attempt.

Not an excuse at all no way Alabama should lose that game. Clark Lea is a very good coach and Vandy while not spending as much as the rest of the SEC did hit the transfer portal and up their NIL budget. Their coach pivoted last year and made a change on his philosophy regarding transfers and NIL. What Vandy did to Alabama and Virginia Tech and almost Missouri if they don’t miss that FG was not a fluke. Teams can take Vandy lightly if they choose at their own peril. Three teams have done it and all paid the price.

You just said no way Bama should lose that game then listed a myriad of reasons as to why they lost.

It's been almost 25 years since @ 2001 Colorado and Nebraska still hasn't recovered.

9.5 point favorites, undefeated, ranked #2, had beaten & snapped defending national champ OU's 20 game win streak a few weeks prior, and had what was thought to be the one of the best run/overall defenses in CFB, only giving up 93 ypg on 2.8 ypc and 6 total td's on the ground through 11 games.

They were down 35-3 early 2nd quarter and lost 62-36. Gave up 380 yards on the ground and 8 rushing td's including 6 to one player and allowed 2 150 yard rushers.

Nebraska was still considered a juggernaut at their pinnacle going into that game with Solich being an ideal predecessor to Osborne, an Alabama under Saban level of program, and they got absolutely decimated. Truly a program-shattering loss and marked the end of the blackshirts

You realize that Alabama, Georgia and LSU have all won less than 80% of their games against Vandy? And Ole Miss and Auburn have won less than 60% of their games against Vandy? You don’t seem to know that.

Yeah Vandy really beat the shite out of us from 1894 - 1938.

Yes Division 2. Vanderbilt would run through division 2. App St over Michigan in a rent a win game was massive. Alabama losing a conference game to Vanderbilt will be memorable for the nerds, but no where near the significance of Michigan App st game.

There has never been a place that runs more on pure emotion than the SEC rant. There is more logical, rational thinking done at a Taylor Swift concert than there is here.

Alabama was #1 and Vandy lost to Georgia State this year. Georgia State is 2-2.

Dating from 2004 to last season, Ole Miss is 12-8 in their last 20 games against Vandy. There was a 9 year stretch where Vandy went 6-3.

Yes but reasons aren’t excuses. Excuses are like the 2014-15 can’t remember which year loss to Ole Mis when there was a lot of craziness that happened. Vanderbilt just lined up and beat Alabama those were reasons and I was responding to those who are sayin my Vandy is not invested in their football program. That’s simply not true.

Wow.

I didn’t know that vandy winning ~20% of their games against Ala-Uga made them a juggernaut

Vandy is in this 20% juggernaut status in last ten games for Ole Miss.

Vandy won 10% of their last ten with MSU.

Vandy has won 2 games in past twenty tries from Auburn.

That’s what I was thinking, but Alabama losing to Vanderbilt is tied or at least second.

You said earlier in this thread that Vanderbilt is like Prairie View. You lost any credibility you would have had when you made that statement. You are the reason that Subway sandwich wrappers now say “DO NOT EAT WRAPPER”. I bet that clogged you up for a week.
