If y'all think B'ham and M'gomery are the worst cities in AL, you really need to get off the interstate and spend some time in West AL: Demopolis, etc.

Baton Rouge hate is so overplayed

Well, not really sure what this thread has to do with sports, but I'll chime in and say I read an article a while back that Alexandria which is kinda between BR and Shreveport was the Sodom and Gommorah of La. It's crime rate is like 5 times the national average. Some of you cajun locals can chime in and uphold or refute. I could google to confirm, but uh, it doesn't mean that much to me (yawn).

Going to Memphis this weekend. Just have to know where to be and not to be.

Jackson is the shittiest city in the south. I hate stopping for gas there.

Bham is much worse than Montgomery, as is Mobile. I'd even add Decatur over Montgomery for AL shitholes.

1. Baton Rouge, LA
-Not a troll, this place genuinely sucks

2. Memphis, TN
-This is the third world. It's like every day is a battle

3. Montgomery, AL
-Very slept on terrible city. I feel bad for people who even have to drive through here.

4. Jackson, MS
-It's amazing to me that people are born here and decide to continue to live here. MS is getting better as a state, but this city sucks.

5. Little Rock, AR
-If living in Arkansas wasn't bad enough, you have to live in violent Arkansas.

Don't get me wrong, there are other terrible places like Shreveport, LA, and Columbus, GA. However, those are 5 cities that I actually feel bad for people who live there. What are some other nominations for the worst cities in the conference?

I bet you are the life of the party, You sound like a miserable person in real life.

OP sounds like a major puss.

Also, how is New Orleans not in consideration? Terrible crime, terrible climate, terrible traffic, a lot of it is super prone to natural disaster.

I'll throw in Orangeburg, SC. I think you can find something charming, or at least redeemable, in just about every town in South Carolina, but not Orangeburg. It's just depressing there.

Pauline's is great. I like that area of SC especially St. Matthews.

Baton Rouge is a great town for music, food, and close to beaucoup outdoor activities.

Crime, every city with large black populations are violent -DUH...

The biggest issue is the fricking Traffic and only one major bridge crossing Miss. River

The whole town is a traffic jam

Jackson is definitely the worst city in the south and probably the country. Just a fricking hell hole of incompetent grifters and a population with an IQ hovering around room temperature.

Sounds like you need to spend some time in West AL if you're calling Demopolis a city

Greene County is home and is God's country

New Orleans should absolutely be on the list.

It's a gigantic shithole.
