Mullen was able to get things rolling at Mississippi State because he could recruit based on potential. He would recruit a 3 star with the right frame and put him in an SEC weight room for 2 years before he played. I think NIL hurts the ability to sit players like that.

UNT is pretty good

They're practically a new team b/c the old UNT coach took all the best players to Oklahoma State this year. They also lost 49-35 the very next week to a 2-3 Texas State.

That and the absolutely cake OOC schedules and Kentucky being the perma rival.

In 9 years they played all of 2 P5s OOC and he lost both.

2020 broke Merlins. He started acting extremely strange, like he was losing his mind. Maybe he was forced to do one too many BLM marches with the team. Either way, results on the field followed. In all my years of watching this sport I've never seen a coach so happy to lose as Dan Mullen was in 2021. He just wanted his buyout and to be done with it.

For a while, he used to be the best play caller in the sport in my opinion. But I watched a UNLV game recently and I'm not seeing it anymore. Maybe he was out of the game too long. But I wouldn't hire him until he shows he still has it, because he definitely still has all of his downsides.

Wish we would've gotten Mullen instead of Silverfield. His issues at Florida were due to the fact he quit recruiting, not because he wasn't a good coach. Now, with NIL, you recruit with the checkbook.

Arkansas still can do it. It is never too late to get a better HC before Arkansas football program go off the rails.

NIL is what is killing Carolina now. They don’t have any.

Mullen has a ceiling and is an incorrigible cock sucker. He also publicly tweeted he had zero interest in the Arkansas job and you should offer Gus Malzahn. Like I said, Cock sucker

as a Gator fan I definitely wouldn’t want to see Dan in Columbia, especially since we have to play the as part of our rotation.

Although I have a bad feeling tomorrow Beamer will survive another week with a huge upset win like 2021

nice place to live.

Vegas?Maybe if you're 23 year old fresh out of college
but Vegas would be at the very bottom of places to live if you're 50+

I think it’s the other way around

Outside of the strip, Vegas is a pretty quiet and boring suburb type environment.
