I love how early the drama is starting. Gonna be lawsuits filed by someone before long. If the new formula is good and results in tight races and multiple winners we could have an awesome season on our hands.
Love how Redbull leaked the news and then pretended to be neutral about it until the last minute.
Rumors that Mercedes might be willing to use a racing fuel with lower calorific value to appease the other teams.

Lando also said some corners that they used to take at full speed they won’t really be able to anymore because they will have to use the brakes to recharge their battery in those turns to be ready to deploy it elsewhere.

F1 also wanted manufacturers, not another haas. Hard to say no when GM got involved.
I think this was a big part of it. The FIA has to give new engine manufacturers a couple years to get settled in but then they can compel them to take on a customer team. So in a few years we could see every manufacturer providing engines for themselves and one customer. I think diversifying the engines like that would be a good thing instead of having Mercedes providing engines for half the grid.

Seemed like the FIA just hated Michael Andretti, he sold most or all of his shares to his business partner who is associated with TWG. Cadillac was already committed but stepped up to close the deal. Might not be all the details.

Hopefully this new sustainable fuel trend doesn’t make its way over to street legal cars.

Good looking car, glad to see the teams using color again in the liveries. Not a fan of the Duracell air box tho, it was cool a couple years ago when it was new.

Lewis Hamiltons roster of exes is up there with Derek Jeter. He’s been linked to Rihanna, Shakira, Sofia Veraga, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and a half dozen European models.

We never had a set of ramps to load the three wheeler in the truck. We would try to park next to a hill or with the rear wheels in a ditch. If that didn’t work we had a single 2x4. Would use the 2x4 as a ramp to get the front wheel on the tail gate and then just pick the back end up and shove it in the truck. I just assumed this was how it was done until we went to a big dove hunt and I noticed other people had purpose built ramps.

I’m sure Ferrari are excited about this new development. Just a little more focus and eye balls on them going into the season.

Is Prema back this year? They missed the media days this week. Strong rumors that another team will take their spots and Grosjean and Daly will be back.
I like Scotty Mac and the thirsty threes, seems like a fun dude to drink a beer with.
Freedom 250 should be an awesome event. I wonder if it will be a one time only thing. I expect it to have an awesome gold trophy.

I think this will be a cool event. INDYCAR needs to do anything they can on their part to make it happen. I assume it’s planned to be a one time event. With Trump involved this will probably have the most bad arse gold trophy ever made.

Redbull-ford powertrains has really impressed this week with their reliability, between the two teams they have run a ton of laps. No matter how they feel about him now, they owe Christian Horner a huge thank you for setting this up.
Looks like Charles and Lando have gotten close to the lap times set by George.
The Aston Martin seems to be the talk of the paddock. Newey has done things other teams never thought about. It’s the most aggressive car there and has been putting in lap times only a few seconds off the pace with their power limited. They arnt pushing hard on the straights, only doing 250-270kph right now, haven’t crossed the 300kph barrier yet. Could be a real competitor this year.

I’m a full on Cadillac fan going forward but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see Fernando win another one this year. I don’t expect Cadillac to be competing for podiums right away.

I get hating Lando. Spoiled rich kid, who wouldn’t have gotten that far without his financier dad. Too involved on social media.
I don’t get hating on Lando for this at this point. He’s made the most of the opportunity he had, he’s obviously talented. Not like a Lance Stroll who acts like he doesn’t give a shite about it. Lando put in the work and made good on the investment his parents made.
George Russel’s dad invested 1.5 million pounds into his junior karting career.
Jos Verstappen wasn’t poor and im sure invested heavily in Max.
Oscar, Hulkenberg, Bortoletto, and Bearman all reportedly have wealthy parents. Checo made it because of the backing of a Mexican billionaire who is reportedly not a great person.
Albons mom went to prison for committing $7.5 million in fraud.
Just not sure why Lando gets singled out about his dad all the time.

Lando said they are slower through the corners but faster out of the corner.

Not even that old, I hit 100 in a 2002 SS Camaro and backed out of it. Didn’t feel like I was in control at that point. Feel better at those speeds in my ‘21 F150.
