LSU may have lost some of its allure they had but they are nowhere near the level of Ole Miss.

What allure has LSU ever had?

SO do you want to have an actual discussion or do you just want to troll?

Well, if it's "real talk" and you actually believe that (you don't), then there's not much of a point in discussing this with someone ignorant enough to believe that. Take your trolling elsewhere. Not the best look to post like Daniel.

FWIW The Liucci with Texags is saying Woodward to LSU is almost a done deal.

Liucci is a dewsh, but he's very plugged in for this kind of thing. If he is saying that it is almost a done deal, then it is.

Ditching Alleva is a joyous event in itself. LSU could hire you as AD and we'd see it as a win.

Fine I just wanted to go the friendly banter route, but let’s have at it.

I genuinely think A&M is more of a national draw than LSU, in every sport. It’s the only SEC school in the great State of Texas. I think LSU fell arse backwards in to a bit of success and they think of themselves as a modern blue blood in all sports. Even when the football success wanes they think they some sort of well rounded juggernaut. Well the Big 12 version of A&M stole Pat Henry. The swamp kittens aren’t what they think they are, IMO.

That's great and all, but that's not the same thing as saying LSU has no allure and is on the level of Ole Miss, which is what I responded to. And using the term "swamp kittens" doesn't really give credence to the notion that you care to discuss anything reasonably. You have a strange definition of "friendly banter."

The really, really sad part is that you really believe this.

Nothing factual supports your pie in the sky hot take.

I wouldn't even melt, as long as we hired someone not named Joe Alleva.

I'm just so damn happy he's gone.

Oh look ... sanity.

I couldn’t agree with you more.
No one is irreplaceable.

There are folks out there who could do as well as (better than?) Woodward.
It’s just a matter of putting together a solid search committee to do their due diligence.

LSU (and A&M) will be fine—Woodward or otherwise.

Are you implying that LSU fans run this board?

I think the real question is how will the Tiger Rant react.

Honestly, no matter who they bring in the hatred for Alleva was so intense that just about any replacement will have a honeymoon period.

Now that the fan base and administration knows that they are capable of getting Jimbo, the days of A&M operating like Texas Tech are done. The bar has been raised for the next AD.

That one 9-4 season has you loony fricks filling those jizz jars.

LSU needs someone like Woodward to aim higher because they are basically purple and gold Ole Miss. LSU doesn’t have the national appeal they think they do.
