You've had Tennessee for the last 30 years. LSU has had Florida. Florida is unquestionably the better program over that time frame.

This is a completely meaningless statement.

So why are you complaining.

Because we're the only program with 3 rumored opponents from the 8 marquee programs in the new SEC. I've made that clear. Do you have reading comprehension issues?

ETA: Contrary to you, I came up with a legitimate solution that also fixes 2 other problems created by the currently rumored permanent opponents. You clearly just want to troll.

It is what it is. Bama will dominate either way. If they don't fix it, eventually everyone will come around to realizing the currently rumored opponents make no sense. One or two years of MS State having a terrible home game slate, 3 or 4 years of LSU and Oklahoma not having a Thanksgiving matchup. You'll all hate this eventually.

Don't bitch at us about it. Go email the SEC so they can put you in their spam folder.

Nah I'm good. I'm sure the people discussing schedules have already seen these problems.

I don't care who we play at Thanksgiving, but if not playing Oklahoma makes Alabama fans miserable, then I'd prefer we not play Oklahoma.

I think there's very little chance of LSU/Bama being a permanent game. I think in the end the matchups will look like this or very close to this:

Remove the Bama-LSU game

That ain’t happening. Too much TV money on the line. The SEC will not give their gravy train game up. This is the Lakers Celtics/Yankees Redsox type of game in the SEC. Pull the numbers. They don’t lie.

That would give Alabama one of the easiest schedules.

SI Article

quote:

The Razorbacks have revived the Battle Line Rivalry series with Mizzou, something the SEC wants to keep on the schedule, and with two former SWC rivals coming over, the Hogs are sure to get one if not both of Texas and/or Oklahoma.

I'm holding out hope, based on the SI article writer's ignorance of football / SWC history, that they are way off on their predictions.

Beating poor ole Mizzou always looks easy and humorous on message boards.

In reality, both are problems.

It’s really not. Every thanksgiving game LSU has had has been nothing more than a manufactured game by the conference that has really little meaning. LSU doesn’t have any instate school in a major conference. It is what it is but how it’s been since Tulane left the conference a long, long time ago.

Wat? LSU’s permanent East team has been Florida, who’s won more division titles and national titles than anyone in the East

"Rather switch between the Dome & Tiger Stadium"" Again, that's not financially practical. The weenies won't even consider a 50-50 split of the Dome gate, and as LSU fans always buy the most tickets, again the weenies want more than they are entitled to receive @ a 50-50 split. And they want more than 50%. Comparing them to Ga.Tech is a farce as well. Tech has had many solid seasons in the ACC. The weenies have one "legit" season on their resume. Does the story of that one year flash in the pan team from Lafayette ring a bell?

I have a feeling Okie Lite will realize that ducking OU is not good for them, I expect Bedlam to return and become a Thanksgiving game for OU.
