I'm always a fan of the whole fan rivalry trolling thing, but when people say shite that's just blatantly false and idiotic it really puts a damper on the whole thing.

Glad to see the actual LSU fans starting to realize that Bama and LSU playing every year is stupid.

ETA: I'd be cool adding Tulane as a permanent Thanksgiving weekend game.

I'd much rather play Tulane at the end of the year than A&M or Arkansas.

You dislike keeping our most traditional conference rival?

At least we get to play a big 6 every year. I would've been alright with any of them, even Tennessee or Georgia.

So are we just pretending that LSU isn't 9-3 vs aggy since expansion?

A&M made a damn cup about it.
I swear that the TAMU Athletic Department ordered those damned cups just to trigger you people.

Laughing at does not mean triggered.

Lots of traditions across the CFB landscape have fallen off. I just don't hate Ole Miss enough to watch to play them every year.

I'm from Florida and have an extra amount of hatred for the Gators, but at least the rivalry between them feels much more genuine in the current CFB climate than between LSU/Ole Miss.

Because we aren't rivals and we both have more history with other teams.

I don't understand why they wouldn't just keep the LSU-Florida series going.

Is Florida-Oklahoma some huge rivalry I somehow missed?

ETA: I guess that wouldn't solve the Thanksgiving problem though.

Yeah, would've been nice.

Like I said, I'm just glad we get to continue to play a big 6 every year.

I'd like to play Tulane every year at Thanksgiving, personally.

Since 2000, LSU has beaten Bama 11 times.
Since 2000, Texas has beaten OU 8 times.

A&M hasn't beaten LSU in Baton Rouge since '94, but they have beaten Texas in Austin 4 times in the same span. Despite not playing them there in the last 13 years.
