I don't understand how this narrative continues to live on. Every time I see it I have to stop and laugh.

Sounds like a reasonable excuse...for losers.

Actually, I think they might lose to UTn. But I hope not.

Did you ban yourself for questioning him?
Why would I do that?
I haven't banned anyone on the Alabama board for questioning him.
ETA: If you're implying your suspension was due to questioning Saban then you are way off base.
You white knighted for Agiye Hall, proclaiming him to be a once in a generation type player then went on personal attacks when people disagreed. That is why you were banned.
But it's been over 11 months so if you want to apply for re-instatement I will grant it. Hopefully you see now that Hall is a primadonna and isn't seeing the field at Texas because of it. He is solely responsible for not being a major contributor for whatever team he is on, not his coaches.

Some already are. They see the obvious drop in game breaking talent. Even Gibbs isn’t a Henry, Lacy, Ingram, etc. WR talent has severely dropped off. If Young goes down, they could lose 3-4 games

We have 3-4 NFL running backs on the roster right now (with 2 of the top 3 high school RBs committed for next year). Nobody is concerned about talent at RB.

Yes, well, kind of hard to sustain the "everyone in the rotation is a 1st round pick" thing we had going from 2018-2020.

Clearly the decline is real time for Saban to retire

This is the most brilliant analysis I've ever fricking read.
To think that if a team's starting QB "went down" they'd lose some games.
Wow. You are a fricking genius.
For which sports network do you work?
You think that if Bennett "went down" UGA would just win out? Win the title without him?
How about CJ Stroud?
Hell... why do coaches even give scholarships to QBs??? Any scrub will do, amirite??
Post less. Drink more draino.

I know I was appeased in 2020. I enjoyed it tremendously. Arky fans wondering if we would be upset. They would honestly not know how to act if they won one SEC title.

Look, here's the deal.
This is probably the best roster in the country and right now, it's playing about as well as a team that last year was a kunt hair away from going 9 and 3.
Last year's squad was the worst team Saban's put on the field since 2014. This year's team was supposed to be invincible and right now, it looks no different than what we saw last season.
So anyone who's telling you that they're not at least a little worried that Nick Saban might finally be losing his edge is full of frickin' shite.
The adjectives once used to describe Saban are now given to Kirby Smart.
Smart is described as grumpy and pissed off. Saban is now described as mellowed out and calm. Maybe it's just a coincidence that Krby's team looks like Alabama is supposed to look and Alabama looks like a disjointed, klutzy mess.
Saban used to preach about "eliminating clutter". Now with his commercials, car dealerships and hotels. This frickin' guy is nothing but clutter.
Personally, I think he's taken too much of a step back and it shows.

No, I think I'll be ok with him if he only wins 50% of SEC Titles and goes to 75% of playoffs without a national title the next 4-5 years. I'll probably bitch some, but I also know that winning at that clip is not the norm.

Truth is...
UGA would kill their granny for that title too.
So would LSU, Texas, Auburn, USC, Tenner.....

You don't think that UGA fans were scared shitless that Kirby would never win a natty after the arse-blasting UGA got in ATL?
Give me a fricking break.
Nobody is worried about Saban. Dude is the GOAT.
If you think UGA fans (and grumpy Ole Kirby) won't be scared of an undefeated BAMA in ATL this year, then you're a low IQ, retard. Just enjoy the season.

It’s funny that people try to downplay that year’s Bama team b/c of the covid stuff when they were far and away the best team that year, regardless of the conditions surrounding the season. They could have played a full 15 games and would not have lost. Having more fans in the stands at away games would not have mattered. That was arguably Saban’s most stacked team since 2015 and 2016 — and by a wide margin on offense. I mean they lost Waddle part way through the season and still btfo of everyone save FLA in the SECCG. You can ‘put an asterisk’ next to it if it makes you feel better, but it still does not change the fact that they dominated during that season and won the title game by like 4 tds.

I think winning the title in the toughest year in history in 2020. Only team with 10 SEC wins in 1 year...everything else is easy.
Competly dominated the national champions and won the SEC last year. UGA can't bank on Alabama having injuries every year to backdoor into a title.
Can't depend on flukes every year.

God forbid Young go down, but Milroe is a pretty special talent IMO. He reminds me a young Vince Young.
