Let’s look at A&M’s championships since Pearl Harbor:

It all depends on who you are a fan of. If your team is in the hunt that is what you enjoy.
They have to contend with our defense also. We are 8–1. It hasn’t all been pretty but people in general seem hyper critical this year.
Their offense also has to go against the number scoring defense in SEC play. That’s side of the game can’t be overlooked. They aren’t great offensively either.
The entire SEC believes Alabama leads LSU 58-27-5
Bama will probably get off to a rough start due to the schedule. I think by tournament time should be solid.
It’s always embarrassing to lose to a team you have absolutely owned traditionally.
I keep reading about Talty being shaky. He hasn’t missed inside the 40 all year. They were probably looking at a 27 yarder or so. I don’t know if Beamer made the right call but no way can it be assumed he misses.
We just don’t lose at home. We can see the finish line to the playoffs now. We will handle this LSU team.
On paper Purdue is absolutely stacked coming into the year. An exhibition tells nothing but I will be surprised if they aren’t great once the season starts due to their experience. I think they will be at a high level quicker than most.
I agree with that thought but the big difference is 15 is the quarterback and not 4. The Oklahoma game last year was just a terrible performance at the position.

Better to have had a dynasty and lost than to never had a dynasty at all. 57-27-5
The older I get, the less patriotic I feel. I think the South is an occupied country. The majority of Confederate soldiers fought because they were invaded. The ideals of the founding fathers were found on the side fighting for state rights.
Fran was just the completion of the trade. Bama got Paul Bryant and Gene Stallings. Aggies got Fran. Seems fair.
Which is why the War Between the States was fought. The issue is still harming America
“Johnny Carson also avoided political stances on his Tonight Show.

That’s a danger. That’s a real danger. Once you start that, you start to get that self important feeling that what you say has great import. And strangely enough, you could use that show as a forum, you could sway people. And I don’t think you should as an entertainer.”
