This is another rebuilding year for bama.

I think we all agree that UGA is the team to beat this year.
Actually, I think they might lose to UTn. But I hope not.

Whole season was just to appease football fans in depressing times.
Depressing as in terms of an Arkansas-type season?

Some already are. They see the obvious drop in game breaking talent. Even Gibbs isn’t a Henry, Lacy, Ingram, etc. WR talent has severely dropped off. If Young goes down, they could lose 3-4 games
So far this team has not significantly improved over last season. If that offense doesn't get it's shite together, they could lose 3 to 4 games even if he doesn't go down.

I didn't say any of that shite. How the frick did you confabulate all that you frickin' drool cup?

Last year's squad was the worst team Saban's put on the field since 2014.

This year's team was supposed to be invincible and right now, it looks no different than what we saw last season.

So anyone who's telling you that they're not at least a little worried that Nick Saban might finally be losing his edge is full of frickin' shite.

The adjectives once used to describe Saban are now given to Kirby Smart.
quote:
Smart is described as grumpy and pissed off. Saban is now described as mellowed out and calm. Maybe it's just a coincidence that Krby's team looks like Alabama is supposed to look and Alabama looks like a disjointed, klutzy mess.

Saban used to preach about "eliminating clutter". Now with his commercials, car dealerships and hotels. This frickin' guy is nothing but clutter.

Personally, I think he's taken too much of a step back and it shows.
I'm sorry. Is this someone else's period blood dripped all over a post, or is it yours?
You fricking chicken little, blubbering vagina.

Where’s Elias Ricks? He played at all?

My period blood aside. Your emotionality in all this is directly proportionate to your fear that I might be right.
Look, Alabama teams have always been a reflection of Nick Saban. This Alabama team is distracted and poorly focused. No different than last year. In fact it's less excusable this year because it's a veteran team
Meanwhile Nick Saban is selling cars, making commercials and buying hotels. Clutter, clutter and more clutter.
He has his mind on other things. Maybe this team does to.
Now take your klonopin and calm the frick down.

He's played a fair amount, but Terrion Arnold and Kool-aid McKinstry are locking down the starting corner spots.
Despite being told by numerous Georgia fans today that we have zero depth, it's good to have a capable backup like Ricks.

Holy shite I've got you shook. You're really that afraid that Nick Saban might be losing a step aren't you?
Look man, he's given alot. If this is the season the demise begins, then so be it. We all know it's coming sooner or later.
I've enjoyed the ride but you? shite, you're really struggling here.

So the worst team that Saban's put on the field since 2014 made it to the SEC championship and thoroughly beat Georgia for the SEC crown? Then lead the National Championship game until the last eight minutes despite having lost both of their top receivers? Guess the bar must have been pretty high for them. Who said Bama was supposed to be invincible this year? Seems like there was a lot of concern with the offensive line, young receivers, and defensive backs coming into this year, although we're hopeful that things might still shape up.

No there wasn't.
The offensive line was supposed to take a major step forward with lots of talent and better coaching and this hasn't happened. The expectation also was that with how well Alabama has recruited at receiver, those worries were supposed to vanish too. Alabama has receivers that only sometimes like to catch footballs.
Things can for sure shape up. They just haven't yet and after this weekend, shite starts getting real.

What you are basically saying is "Will you be ok becoming #2 to Georgia over the next 5 years?". I'd prefer not to. I'd hope that even if we do we still get a few wins in there and steal a title. But I'm absolutely not going to burn the house down and throw a hissy fit because we are "only" a perennial top 3 program.
Notice, you are basically describing what happened to Les Miles, as Saban brought the Bama program to the top. Miles had LSU humming along, but as soon as we stopped winning the West every other season, people lost their minds.
Fans do not tolerate dropping a notch, no matter how high that notch still is overall.
