I think it will be fun to add Texas. But I don't think any of us have any affection for them.

This is the least logical argument on here. We moved to the SEC W. Our coach is calling out Saban. Why are we worried about an 8-4 Big 12 Team?

It’s mostly trolling by people on this board who have gotten very poopy pants over the years from Aggie trolling. It’s also a number of posters are actually Texas fans, but had a favorite SEC team.

I think that is 100% "LOL lets laugh at Aggie".
Once Texas shows up and starts doing Texas stuff they will immediately become the most hated program in the conference - and that's saying something, because we've held that post for a century.

I don't think there are many that actually like Texas. They're just not as emotional about the horns wanting in the SEC as aggie.
