Also there's no way they'd have it in NO because of the Sugar Bowl- there'd be a 70% chance one of the two teams in the SECCG plays there in a span of 3 weeks. No one would show up...

Agreed. Pac 12 is stable so long as USC doesn't go independent and there's virtually no threat for another conference to raid it. ...

Other than WVU there's really only Cincinnati (who I don't know if ACC wants) and Notre Dame (who I don't know if they want ACC). Big Ten fricked everything up geographically when they took Maryland and Rutgers ...

Big Ten is at 14 teams now: Penn State was 11, Nebraska 12, Rutgers/Maryland 13-14.
If Notre Dame stays put or goes to ACC, they'll reach out to Missouri who will probably turn them down. Who knows where they go from there, and if this turns into an ACC raid, this becomes a much bigger mess...

The SWC, especially after Arkansas left, was more akin to what it'd look like today if Alabama joined the Sun Belt. Half of the teams did not make it to P5, and Baylor only making it on political pressure....
