Welcome to the 90s

Verge was the worst possible candidate. I think you’ll see multiple sports suffer. Most notably, football.
Also, if Woodward was such a terrible AD, why would you immediately hire his second in command. Someone no one has touched for a major AD anywhere in the country.
They’re going to make a 30 for 30 on this shitshow when all is said and done

Oh wow! He got a naming rights deal!!
This is no different then when people wanted Billy Napier as LSU football coach. G5 and FCS personnel are simply not ready for the magnitude and responsibility that comes with a flagship university. The university deserves someone with better qualifications and experience. Going from Woodward to Scroyer would be such an unbelievable downgrade. I don’t think LSU would recover. We’re talking 90s level incompetence because we let a little ULL man in the governors office go on an ego trip. Apparently everyone’s okay with it because he likes Trump

I was always downvoted for calling out how shitty BK was at recruiting

Bitch, I agree he needed to go. I never even mentioned that in my original post.
This ULL clown is fricking with the brand of LSU football. He needs to be controlling crime and making tailgates safe. Not chiming in on head coaching searches and rolling in a crack tiger into our stadium, you dunce.
Take your tongue out of his a-hole

Landry will make me donate to a fricking democrat if he fricks up the football program

LSU Baseball is the apex mountain. I think he’s building a dynasty here. I really think he would only go to the pros but, he been on record saying he’s staying in college.
His agent will talk to A&M to get a raise from LSU and nothing more. If you’re LSU, you do everything to keep him here.
Hopefully the dumbass governor doesn’t meddle in his employment

Put your damn politics aside and realize this clown is actively trying to ruin the reputation of LSU.
First, he brings in Omar the Tiger before getting dog walked in the pouring rain by Alabama for God knows why. Complete embarrassment.
Next, he’s fricking up our head football coaching search when our program is one of the most desirable in the nation.
This ULL plant needs to shut the frick up and stay out of the football ops business. All of this could have been handled behind closed doors. Yet, he’s insisting on airing out dirty laundry in the most embarrassing way possible.

You’re being willfully ignorant.
Woodward’s departure should’ve been handled behind closed doors and not in front of a press conference for that ULL clown.
Landry is doing more harm to this university than I thought could be possible

Not letting Woodward hire the next football coach is a sensible move

Look, I’m not a fan of the Ragin Cajun and his wannabe Trump shtick.
But you can’t let Woodward overpay another “big name” fossil who’s on the downside of his career. Letting him do that is financial suicide for a school like LSU and a state like Louisiana.
Booster money needs to go to NIL and talent. Not some fricking agent looking to make a payday.

Double his offer. Recruits care more about money over anything else
Firing Brian Kelly now is the best thing that could happen to this program

I’ll do a deep dive later tonight but he tried to undo 25+ years of program building that Saban, Miles and even Orgeron accomplished or maintained.
He sucked the life blood out of this program and tried to make it Notre Dame south when no one fricking asked him to.
I told this board for the past 4 years as soon as he fired Moffit, Baker and Raymond while promoting his buddy to recruiting coordinator that he would never win a championship here.
I’m glad to know he’s gone because I don’t know if we would have ever won championship again if we let him coach the rest of his 10 year contract

I just don’t think BK gets fired anytime soon

While (possibly) losing tomorrow and likely one or two more games is a huge disappointment, LSU just cannot afford a 50+ million buyout in the age of NIL. I know people are calling for his head but, it’s just not possible.
It would put the program in worse shape than where Ed O left it. We’re unfortunately stuck unless it gets so bad BK agrees to a lower buyout, BK accepts another gig or we fire him with cause which could be a possibility since he’s always tied to terrible off the field incidents.
Stop giving out these ridiculous buyouts and start investing more into scouting and the roster!

Yeah maybe the players should just go back to leather caps and see how a hospital ball thrown over the middle goes

I agree but it’s unlikely that’s happening.
The reality is Nuss will need a Heisman-like effort to get this win

Huge Thunder fan and homer but this is fricking hilarious
I live in walking distance to the stadium. So I’ll be there

I hope they don’t price out the average fan. I think they’re planning to add more luxury suites. It will be nice for the lower bowl to be closer to the court
