Clemson and Alabama have done more to hurt Tennessee recruiting than UGA.
Yall might be able to compensate for that if UGA sucked arse like we did in the 90's.
Its no coincidence the opposite fortunes of UGA and UT over time. Both programs dont seem to be able to excel at the same time.

They let social media dictate their hiring.

If your puke is UT orange you need to see a doctor
UT sucks because of long term mismanagement and terrible coaching hires. When we hire the right guy and get out of our own way, we’ll be fine.
Will that happen? Maybe

The narrative that Georgia is underachieving is funny to me. Every other team in the nation not named Bama, Clemson, or Ohio State would be envious of UGA’s recent success
Define recent. I’ll take LSU’s success over Georgia’s in a heartbeat.

Some say, like the Haitian slave rebellion,, Fulmer sold his soul to the devil to win the MNC but cursed UT into mediocrity.
Some others say, it's a result of 13 years worth of horrible AD, coaching hires, and the rise of Clemson.

Thats not really a knock when the national champ is in the SEC.
It was a great season. It could have been an instant power shift.

That 2019 LSU team was the most talented team in the nation when looking at the NFL draft.
So the current staff is not developing their players at the same rate as the top teams in the league?

I assume you missed the 2020 game if you think injuries didnt play a major role in that game.
When you're the only other school in the country that's even begun to threaten Alabama in recruiting, you can miss me with that excuse. They got outcoached.

It all started towards the end of the phil fulmer era when the program was slipping. then a young lane kiffin is hired and he leaves after just a year. then the program takes a hard nose dive with some of the worst hires in Derek Dooley, Butch Jones, and Jeremy Pruitt. They have all the resources there they just need a big name hire.

Have you not seen the interview ? Youtube it if you haven't, even though its a kid spoofing on UT, I think you'll find it pretty funny.
Regarding the UT decline - I agree - it's been an odd sequence of really bad coaching hires and bad luck. I think the Vols had their guy with Charlie Strong ... he shouldn't have backed out. Their facilities are great, fans are loyal, and game days are strong. I lived in Oak Ridge for a year and took night classes - its a great campus.

Injuries and the portal have not been kind to uga. The opposite applies to LSU lucking into joe burrow.

That an illogical take. This isn’t a video game. Not even bama overcomes the issues that uga dealt with in that game. You must not realize how many key players were out.

That has nothing to do with our ability to get enough players to form a decent team. We landed a 5 star tackle and a top 100 QB from GA in the middle of Georgia's best run in 15 years. And plenty of other 4 stars out of GA as well. The Nucleus of the Clemson offense that shredded Bama in 2018 was three guys that grew up with Tennessee ties. Two huge contributors in Saban's early success were Donta Hightower and Barrett Jones, but more than that, it was guys that he signed away from us that could have contributed here from 2010-2012.
You've signed players from Tennessee that could have played here, but the one who did the most for you is currently our leader on our OL. The others haven't done much, but this is their time so we'll see.

Yeah, you're not gonna get any sympathy here.
