Wow. Not sure why this particular thread was the one to do it, but it has brought the true idiots out of hiding. Not everyone in this thread is a retard, but if you are a retard, you are in this thread.

Aub still ranked top 10 after 4 losses, while Lsu at 18. And Lsu beat Aub.

This is what always kills me. When other fans talk about how their team would have beaten _______ . blah, blah, blah.

But their team wasn't even good enough to go to the game.
Anybody that says Auburn did not have a solid season is crazy.

But LSU got blown out by MState, lost to Troy and lsot to Alabama and ND.

Auburn beat two playoff teams that played for the National Championship. Some times the head to head matchup doesn't tell the whole story. Was troy a better team than LSU? No. Was LSU a better team than Auburn? Probably not. The best team doesn't always win.

That's funny because everyone I run into outside the rant thinks the hire was a joke.

Auburn doesn't dwell in past, and I gotta give Auburn credit here, they pull up their big-boy-pants while moving on.

All we hear about from Auburn fans is 2010, and they won a National Title more recently than we have..and UGA hasn't won one since 1980. They most certainly do live in the past. We don't bring up 1980....they do. In fact, I would say it is accurate to say Auburn fans live in Georgia's past.

I don't understand why anyone thinks Auburn handles a 4 loss season well. A large section of our fanbase melts every time we lose. We have people who feel like this season wasn't solid even though we won 10 games, the SEC West and played in NY6 bowl. Our loses came to 2 Playoff teams, one of those loses we beat the 1st time we played them. We lost to a top 20 team in Death Valley and to UCF who happened to finish the season ranked 6th. I know everyone else believes they would have beat UCF in Atlanta, but nobody else besides uga and bama were good enough to get to Atlanta to play them in the SEC so we will never know.

We may lose 4 or 5 next year...I can promise you our fanbase will melt like snowflakes in Alabama. So I resent the notion that Auburn fans handle 4 loses better than LSU. Auburn fans melt with the best of them.

Here you go Doofus. It's not a top ten whine, but its a whine nonetheless.

The correct answer, however, is that AU may as well expect mediocrity being little bro in their state. LSU has not this excuse

Won the SEC twice and played in two NC games since Saban has been at Bama.

Thanks for spewing garbage.

Aibirn is taking the Georgia loss to Alabama worse than they are taking their own losses this season!

I've seen just the opposite. They seem to hate Georgia more than Alabama. Of course had Georgia won I'm sure they would have enjoyed piling in alabama as well.

Why would it be embarrassing? there is no expiration date on National Titles. Our 1980 title is just as valid as your 2010. But, fact is Auburn has won one title in the last 60 years. The same as Georgia.

Now. Does this embarrass you? if it does, I'm sorry, but it is the truth.

If it does not embarrass you, then why would 1980 embarrass me?

LSU actually has won a national title within the last decade.

Well, every fan-base lives in the past to some degree, good and bad, but I was talking about Auburn's ability to get it done after disappointments. Sure every fan-base, says.. "Darn, wish we would've done it" or something to this degree, but Auburn pulls their big-boy pants up and gets it done. If its takes getting a QB, Auburn goes and gets it! If it takes firing a championship winning coach, they do it! They don't dwell in past so much, like some programs do...

Georgia is my 2nd favorite SEC team, but the mental part of the game gets to them to much. It's why Georgia has lost to Florida so much since 1992, its why Tennessee is beaten, more than not, before even reaching field -vs- Gators, and there's many other examples mental part creating hurtles for some. Unfortunately, I willing to bet many Georgia fans were thinking other night... "Here we go again, we're going to blow another championship opportunity" Attitude matters, that's my point! This mindset spreads to the players heads, coaches, and throughout the whole program if allowed too. This brings troubles within an already pressured situation, and takes that pressure to another level. Pressure causes mistakes in Huge moments, that simple. Every program will make mistakes, but it's how you handled these mistakes afterwards that matters. Auburn doesn't have this hiccup within, they're great at brushing off that stink, then going on, even within the games themselves they do this. Bama, Auburn, and others relish these type of challenges more than not, and when the opportunity for a title arises, they take full advantage. Auburn is very efficient with not wasting a good team when they come along. Like I've mentioned, Bama and Auburn have a healthy rivalry, they feed off each other success, it drives them instead of messing their minds all up.
