Actually, the Rant has been in meltdown mode ever since the beginning of the season and long before LSU suffered its first loss of the season because there is a large contingent on the Rant, but not in the State, just on the rant that absolutely hates coach O with every fiber of their being. As they literally spend every last second of their lives hating on coach O, and they won't ever stop hating on O no matter how many Natty he collects or how long he remains at LSU, which I hope is for a very long, long time because their misery brings me great pleasure, joy, and happiness. As they want to be able to tell everybody that we told you so! We told you that O was not qualified to be the head coach of LSU. So, if O suffers a 7 and 5 regular season in his 12th season as head coach at LSU, they still want to be able to tell everybody that they told us so.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s laughable really.

And they want to fire everyone! I don’t mean just O they want to burn the whole thing down. One of the wealthiest sports universities in the US and they want to completely wipe it out and start over. It’s crazy!

ait, you think LSU fans liked the Orgeron hire?

Outside the Rant, everybody I run into worships coach O.

Not to mention, that at the time O was hired, there were polls published that showed in excess of 65 percent of the people of Louisiana being in favor of making coach O the new head coach at LSU, and this was a couple of weeks before coach O was eventually hired.

Auburn has been boom or bust a lot. Steady isn’t terrible

LSU has been steady lately with no boom. Fans were getting sick of it

LSUs down years were 8-5, Auburn’s were sub .500

Because they used to have a coach named Saban and they are left all those "what if" scenarios dancing in their head.

I don't understand why anyone thinks Auburn handles a 4 loss season well. A large section of our fanbase melts every time we lose. We have people who feel like this season wasn't solid even though we won 10 games, the SEC West and played in NY6 bowl. Our loses came to 2 Playoff teams, one of those loses we beat the 1st time we played them. We lost to a top 20 team in Death Valley and to UCF who happened to finish the season ranked 6th. I know everyone else believes they would have beat UCF in Atlanta, but nobody else besides uga and bama were good enough to get to Atlanta to play them in the SEC so we will never know.

We may lose 4 or 5 next year...I can promise you our fanbase will melt like snowflakes in Alabama. So I resent the notion that Auburn fans handle 4 loses better than LSU. Auburn fans melt with the best of them.

Auburn doesn't dwell in past, and I gotta give Auburn credit here, they pull up their big-boy-pants while moving on.

Auburn is like the person who brushes off bad happenings and moves on. Auburn has a bad season, and they realize the next season is what matters now, they make the needed changes from the lessons learned. They use Bama's success as motivation to do better also, just look how many titles Auburn has won right after Bama won it all. Bama & Auburn have a healthy, beneficial, rival type relationship, and they both feed off each other.

LSU fans are like the person who can never let go of bad events from the past, thus causing them to never move forward. LSU has a bad season, they dwell on what they did instead of what they need to do. They use Bama as someone to blame for their shortcomings and unleash their anger. Bama and LSU have a unhealthy relationship were one is resentful of their brothers success, and they make negative energy from these feelings. instead of using it as healthy fuel to do what needed.

Two total different mindset between fan-bases with how they react to mistakes.

To be fair, the Saban angle does make Bama like the person who stole an ex, so LSU's mind is somewhat tainted here.

Because they’re married to Gus regardless of record because of the contract they gave him.

This is correct.

And it seems that Auburn is the only other team in the SEC that has the motivation to provide Bama some level of competition from year to year. Saban has made all the other bitches quit.
